Absolutely PERFECT stay for us, the cottage was so easy to find and we even got a chance to walk up to the lake and hang out with the local cows who came for an evening drink. The cottage is perfect, spacious and has everything you need. Thanks so much!!

We loved our stay so much that we can't wait to come back! The place was pristine, beautifully decorated with so much character, surrounded by beauty, perfectly stocked, and so comfortable! We felt so peaceful in this cozy stay. Nearby Oswestry was a cute little town with lots of food options. We greatly appreciated the helpful binder of recommendations and information left by the hosts. Perhaps the best part was cuddling with Rocky, one of the cats! We are excited to escape the bustle of London to stay in this serene place again in the future!

The Piggery far exceeded our expectations and we have returned home feeling refreshed and relaxed from our break here. The setting is incredibly peaceful with stunning views over the countryside and the only sound to be heard is birdsong. The interior is spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing break and spotlessly clean. A lot of time and thought has gone into making this a relaxing bolthole from the hustle and bustle of city life yet with all the modern conveniences that make life easier. The welcome treats left by Liz and Alison were an unexpected surprise and thoroughly enjoyed by us. A particular bonus for us travelling with elderly parents was how suitable it is for those with restricted mobility due to there being no steps and both showers being walk in at the same level as the bathroom floor. The hosts are welcoming and very responsive to messages and solving minor issues such as a problem working the wifi. I highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely little place. My daughter has SEN needs so wasn't ready to stay overnight at the nearby PGL Boreaton Park for her Year 6 primary school residential. This is a great place for parents to stay overnight with their children if their child is attending for the days. We really enjoyed the little snacks you left out and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was spotlessly clean.

The Top Farm Cottage was awesome. Had everything you could possibly need, lovely welcome from the owner. Full of character and modern fittings. Bedrooms and Bathrooms excellent as we're the Kitchen facilities. Had a couple of issues which the lovely owner Margaret sorted for us as we were let down by Sykes Cottages. Sent them an email on Monday, they took until Thursday to respond, despite stating it could take up to 17.hours to respond they actually took 79 hours to reply. By which time we had already resolved with the owner directly. We did not want to bother the owner as Sykes say that you must always go through them. After the 79 hour wait for the reply Sykes suggestion was to speak to the owner ! Really disappointed with Sykes and felt they should have acted far sooner, What are they being paid for ?

Like something out if a fairy tale, the Summerhouse is an incredible folly and property hidden away in the forest at one with nature with privacy and peace. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed ourselves so much we never ventured from the Estate except to ealk the beautiful surroundings. The house has everything you need with Welshpool and good shopping on your doorstep if you need supplies. The resident pheasant was a beautiful surprise each time he visited for snacks and we even saw a pair of large owls. For a break away from the pressures of work and life The Summerhouse offers an amaxing environment for solitude and relaxation. Thank you x

This was our second stay at View Cottage and we will certainly be back. The cottage is comfortable and in a beautiful peaceful location., with glorious views. We had everything we needed. Geraint is so welcoming and always helpful and responsive. We didn’t want to leave!

I can't say enough about this place it's fantastic. Close to all that Oswestry has to offer but just outside all the action, to be quite and comfortable, when you'd like to relax. It is literally a 2-minute walk from pubs, shopping, the Castle and the Market. The accommodations have everything you could possibly need, a book that outlines everything about the accommodation, the town, attractions and even local menus . If not in the book, the hosts are quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this place, except for any weekend that I'd like to be there, because I will definitely be coming back.
