This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They're in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

The Wilgenhuisje is a cozy log cabin that is equipped with all the comforts such as underfloor heating. Despite the fact that the cottage is located in the backyard, there is plenty of peace and privacy and has its own terrace with picnic table and comfortable chairs. It is a quiet residential area, but of course there is also ambient noise. The Wilgenhuisje is located at the outskirts of the village of Koekange, nature parks are fully available in the area.

A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

Our cozy garden house is located in the back of our 1893 farmhouse with an area of 75m2. It has its own entrance and full privacy. There is a large living room with its own kitchen and views of the meadows. We also have an enclosed garden where you can relax! Your beloved pets are very welcome!
