The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

If you prefer to escape from the city the Elbe sandstone mountains are reachable in just 45 minutes to hike, climb or simply enjoy the nature.

The cozy and spacious apartment (55 sqm) is located on the ground floor in a listed, lovingly renovated, former Gesindehaus Bj 1900 in the OT Pfaffendorf. This includes a car parking space, a separate guest terrace in the courtyard and protected high-speed WiFi.

Here you have an ideal starting point for hikes and exploration tours into the rock world of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains with its mountains to conquer and wildly romantic valleys. The city center and public transport S-Bahn, bus and boat are a 10-15 minute walk away.

In the apartment there is a TV, a radio, a bathroom with WC as well as a shower and a mini kitchen. WIFI is available. There you can find a refridgerator, a sink, a coffee machine and a cooker. Everything to make a nice meal after a long day of hiking in Saxony Switzerland!
