The bath is for home use.There is also a day-use hot spring about 10 minutes away by car. There are several restaurants in the town, but you need to travel by car. About your space This is a house (villa) with a stunning view on the shore of Lake Towada. Enjoy the barrel sauna with a wood stove (wood is available on the premises for free, but please prepare your own firewood), a drum bath, a large jacuzzi (no hot water, and it cannot be used in winter to prevent freezing), a barbecue, kayak, SUP (please prepare your own), and more. There is a marina next door to Lake Towada, so you can enjoy jet skiing, boating, etc. The house is located at an altitude of 400 meters, so we take the utmost measures, but insects come out during the warmer months.In winter, a lot of snow falls.In autumn, the leaves flutter down. We promise you a great view. Share Village Machimura

This is an old thatched house built in 143 years ago. The family that has lived in the house for generations has protected it, but it was planned to be demolished because of the financial issues in 2014. In order to preserve the original landscape of the satoyama for the next generation, we revitalize the house as a membership guest house. However, the activities were stopped due to the pandemic. In June 2024 we reopened the house as a private accommodation place (rental vacation house).
