Two-Bedroom Apartment Sunila by Aalto Päivölä

Pietetically renovated one-bedroom apartment (45m2) with a bedroom, living room, kitchenette, bathroom and balcony. Sunila is a unique forest suburb designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto and a fresh part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The apartment is a terrace house without an elevator in Päölä, which was completed in 1939. It's about 13km to the center of Kotka and about 3km to Karhula. The apartment has been renovated in as original as possible, and is furnished on a circular economy basis, mainly with furniture designed by the Waves.

Want cottages in the countryside and yet close to services? Come as a guest to our traditional round log cabin by the lake! The cottage has modern amenities and a toilet. There is a wood-burning sauna on the beach, where the water is carried from the lake or cottage. Note! You must know how to heat a wood-fired sauna and how to wash in the sauna. The cottage does not have a shower. Only 20-25 min to Kouvola, Tykkimäki and Mielaka hillside center and less than 2 hours drive from the metropolitan area. Not for party groups.

A cozy and beautifully decorated studio apartment with everything you need for your stay. The location is absolutely great, between the marina and the market square, both of which are a few minutes' walk away. The view from the apartment windows opens to the adjacent park. The apartment in the old stone house is quiet thanks to the solid walls, and is located on the west side of the house. Free parking either on the street or in the parking area at the port, where there is also a charging point for electric cars.

The yard building, with its own yard and terrace, is located in a rural area along the Kymijoki River, in the beautiful landscape of Siikakoski. This cozy place is just a 5-minute drive to services. Massive logs and wooden surfaces bring atmosphere to the upstairs bedroom and living room. Downstairs there is a small but well-equipped kitchen and a small bathroom/toilet. The parking space is in front of the door. During the summer, guests have access to the host's beach, where there is a swimming opportunity.
