A comfortable apartment in peaceful surroundings near the city.

Excellent place to stay. Communication was smooth. Check-in was flexible and easy. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. We found parking for the car right next door. Guests were well cared for.

This place was absolutely adorable! A cozy and cozy apartment inside 200-year-old logs. The "energies" were inviting and warm. We had a good night's sleep in a good bed. In the morning, I was able to refresh myself by taking a dip from my own beach directly into the Kymen River. A private shower and toilet were a big plus. A stone's throw from the wellness center where I was 4 days at a yoga retreat. It was nice to walk to the place with the birds singing. Tiitus was a friendly and considerate host. "Peaceful Nature Escape" is the perfect name for this property. Thank you 🩷 I can warmly recommend to everyone who comes to stop at the stunning Swedish holiday in Ruukki's milieu. See you again next year as the retreat continues!

Really nice and spacious apartment, full of fun details! Accommodation within a convenient walking distance from the center of Kotka, in a beautiful landscape. Maija&Olavi provided comprehensive instructions before the start of the stay.

We stayed at Joni’s place for a weekend during a music festival. The apartment worked well for us even though we were 4 people and the apartment is quite small (which was clearly communicated to us) Overall a great place to stay in the centre of Strömfors Iron works. Joni was a great host, and all communication worked well with him. The apartment matched the description and there was all the necessary amenities!

I have stayed several times at Milla’s place and it has always been a pleasure. Highly recommended :)

Clean, peaceful and well-equipped apartment, beautiful surroundings, all right.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Veronica’s place. We loved the sauna and the atmosphere in the cottage in candle and moonlight, sitting by the fire. The cottage is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. There are other cottages nearby but it felt private and the view of the sea is beautiful. The grounds are rather difficult to get around and of course you have to be prepared for the lack of electricity or running water - but we knew that in advance. Water and firewood were well stocked, which was great. We would love to come back sometime!

Very nice, clean cottage with plenty of equipment. Cooking is done in the oven, stove, grill, and even microwave. It was lovely with boats and paddles when they were found😊. If something negative has to be said (which is not related in any way to the cabin), there are just a terrible number of ticks. 2 dogs, a girl and I went to the cottage, walking and already attached during the week about 30😖.

Very nice little guest cottage in a beautiful location. We were able to wash and sleep, it was peaceful. The cottage is fully equipped for the two adults. The host wasn't there, but she responded to messages very kindly and quickly, and her husband introduced us to the beach and summer kitchen. If there's a need in this area later, I'll definitely be back.

A very suitable cottage for a few people in a beautiful quiet location by the lake, yet close to the services of Kouvola. There wasn't an oven in the kitchen, but thankfully this was what we did in advance from Google ratings so we knew how to change the menu accordingly. The firewood was quite big and the grill required the purchase of charcoal, but otherwise everything was found and worked. Very nice and helpful owners who helped quickly if needed :)

Great place, and an extremely nice host couple! It is easy to recommend to everyone. Sauna and whirlpools are definitely worth buying as an additional service. Breakfast has been praised in many reviews - and for good reason! A versatile breakfast that will last you a long day.

A spacious and bright cottage with a nice old-fashioned atmosphere up to the dishes. The front desk was friendly and the ironworks milieu was nearby.
