Holiday rentals with beach access in Kounoupidiana

Lovely two-room apartment close to a nice sandy beach and services. A short distance to the center of Chania by car or bus. The location is quiet and private, although there are hotels and other amenities nearby. The apartment had everything you needed for accommodation. You can easily park your car on the street. Giorgos and his family were helpful and friendly hosts. We highly recommend their apartment 😊

Nantia and Kostas were lovely, thoughtful hosts who welcomed us with delicious home cooked treat. The apartment is conveniently located and fully stocked with everything that you need. There are also beautiful views from the property. A wonderful stay.

Everything was great, the apartment was clean and we had everything we needed. The area is full of restaurants and things to do and although it is very animated, the apartment is located on a quiet street. Nasos was great!

Thrasyvoulos’s was a very responsive, proactive and helpful host. The apartment was in an amazing location with great restaurants nearby. Would recommend!

Jenny is a wonderful host, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She gave us great recommendations for bakeries nearby, and it is clear she loves Chania! She was also kind enough to do laundry for us! The balcony had a beautiful view of the sea. A lovely stay!

From first arriving and meeting Artemis we were made to feel at home. She was waiting at the apartment for us to arrive. She was such a lovely, kind lady. We had honey from her farm, organic olive oil, fresh eggs, fruit, wine, tomatoes . She was so passionate about the her home and what places we could visit or local restaurants. The apartment is even better than the photos- it’s magical! So beautiful to look out on the balcony over Chania! Artemis was always available to answer messages about any questions we had. We were sad to leave but would not hesitate to visit again! Thank you Artemis for a wonderful stay!

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the cutest place in Old Town. Walkable to all restaurants. Eva was flexible during our checkin as we arrived later than expected. We rented a car to explore more than Chania but if you are staying in Chania, I wouldn’t recommend a car. Busy week and weekend nights can make parking tough to find for free and you’ll probably end up needing to pay in the garage. However, parking didn’t impact our stay at this lovely Airbnb and Eva provides at least 4-5 parking options.

The place was great. Location was perfect for us: close to some true gems food wise, beaches, wineries, etc. We loved it. We stayed 1 week, so we truly got a chance to enjoy it. Was also able to yoga in the morning with a view on the olive trees. All the little attentions made us feel welcomed.

Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We arrived quite late and were pleasantly surprised to find a cold bottle of wine waiting for us and all the amenities for us to have a late supper. The location was very charming close to the historic district of Chania and the story behind Hestia House added to our stay. Great location for walking and the nearby beaches were a stone throw away. The bedroom and bathroom were very bright and comfortable. If we return to Crete, Hestia House will certainly be our number one choice.

we had a wonderful time in this apartment for 17 days in May / June 2025. The area is beautiful, at a short distance you can walk beautifully and in the evening you look out over the mountains while eating. The apartment is spacious and cozy. The only downside is that there is only one gas burner for cooking. On the other hand, the hostess offers to cook for you (for a small fee) if you want. You should definitely do this because she cooks wonderfully. In addition, she is very caring and does everything to make you feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

The location and room are amazing, we had a great week here! Everything is as pictured/described if not better in person. The place was spotless when we arrived and the flexible check-in is great for if you have a later flight. Location could not be better as the old town (including the street outside) is so pretty and there is lots to do even without hiring a car. Thank you !

The pictures don't do the unit justice! Beautiful home with stunning views of the old port. Everything is walkable, and this is a great place to people watch. Lot's of stairs in the multi-level unit so beware. Beds for 6, and they're comfortable! Host is awesome, and very communicative. No parking at the unit but street parking can be had a couple of blocks away. I'd definitely return!

Everything you could want for staying in Chania! The room is perfect, and actually quite tall making the room feel bigger. The location is ideal and the balcony is great for relaxing. We loved our stay here and couldn’t recommend it enough! :)

A big thank you to Konstantinos and Stelina for providing a beautiful apartment for their guests. We were delighted with the layout of the rooms, very modern with floor-to-ceiling windows, a kitchen where nothing was missing (even a salad spinner and a measuring cup were there!) and with a comfortable bed. Towels are changed every 3rd day and linens are changed every 5th day, real luxury! It smells very pleasant, thanks to the well-selected fragrance sticks. For me, a good-smelling apartment is always very important and we appreciated it as well. The balcony is airy and after 10:00 in the shade, it is pleasant to endure and the beautiful view of Souda Bay is simply magnificent. Downtown is about 10 minutes by car, so you are quickly in the center, but also quickly outside in the evening. Ideal for people who want to enjoy city life but prefer to have it a little quieter. Thank you again for everything!!

Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

The place was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's very close to the beach and there are many shops nearby. The host Alkis was very polite and always answers within minutes if we needed anything. He went out of his way to help us when we needed a hand. Not to mention that he offered us a drive to the bus station.

Chania is a fantastic city and region, we have visited before and loved it however this time we wanted to stay outside of the old town due to noise in the evening. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. A short walk to both the old town and the beach, perfectly clean and also spacious with big terraces. Parking at the apartment which is a big plus for Chania. We visited with my parents and our toddler. Thank you Cryssa for such a lovely stay, we will certainly return!

Great location, you can walk to many places, there is a delicious cafe nearby Convenient space space The host was very nice!Very prompt and responsive!Allows us to check in early😃 and also allows us to park for a while after check-out. This is really good (because it is difficult to find a parking space on the road nearby) This building is new and has a nice elevator The room is also very clean and cozy, fully equipped, there is also complimentary mineral water in the refrigerator, there is a full-length mirror in the bathroom, a makeup mirror in the bedroom, the hot water is very warm, the lights in the bedroom are also very bright, I like it here ~ I can hear a little bit of the traffic outside in the bedroom, but it's acceptable. It's just that I'm a light sleeper, so I noticed this. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!

This is the second time staying with Dimitris. Manos , thank you for your hospitality and attentiveness while staying with you . We really appreciate it . We loved the restaurant you recommended in the old town as well as arranging a taxi for us to the airport . Hope to see you again soon
