An atmospheric courtyard with a resting mind and body. The building has been completely renovated between 2017 and 2019. On the covered terrace there is a cosy living area and a hot tub, the use of which is included in the accommodation price. The cottage has a traditional Finnish atmosphere, to which a touch of oriental breeze has been added. From the gentle steam of the wooden sauna it is nice to go to the terrace to cool off and enjoy the sheltered and peaceful yard atmosphere. The cottage has heating and air conditioning which increases the comfort during summer heat.

It is a charming, traditional, renovated wooden cottage with a fireplace and sauna* located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, on a tree-lined street, beside a park and playground. Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

Guests also have access to a backyard patio. Bus stop in Helsinki (turn 863) 300m, (K-supermarket Tarmola) along a walkway that runs 450 m through the woods. Porvoo city center 1.8 km.

We had a great stay at this house 🙂 It was very clean, cozy, and comfortable… perfect for our little family. We were traveling with a baby, and the hosts thoughtfully provided a cot, which made things so much easier for us. The highlight was definitely the sauna. It’s the most modern and high-tech one I’ve ever seen. A real treat after a long day 🧘‍♀️ Would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

We had a great time with our 2-year-old and a dog. The surroundings were peaceful, looking through the big windows, it really felt like nature was coming all the way. We spent 3 nights, longer would have been entertained. Covered pool rescue when the weather in May wasn't yet summer enough. The yard and interior are cozy and functional. In the guest book more.

We spent a nice couple of days at Suvi's cottage. Everything went great! There was a flexible check-in and on the day of departure we had the opportunity to stay a little longer. We enjoyed the peace and atmosphere of the countryside, for example, in a lovely tree sauna and a beautifully decorated cottage, where the dream tasted. Summer café Pumppaamo within walking distance was also nice. I highly recommend it!
