Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in La Douze

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It is a truly exceptional, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. The house and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to turn the old train station into a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation very much. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could once again use my "rusty" French skills. Thank you for everything!

The apartment was on the edge of the historic centre and therefore a short walk to sights, shops and restaurants. The sunroom and accompanying view of the garden was very pleasant. Catherine is a superb host, very accommodating and responsive. We really appreciated her pop organising transport to and from the station. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived it felt like home away from home, great location in the heart of Serlat, perfect for two couples, plenty of room, any questions asked where answered straight away, we were even able to stay an extra night which was great. Only one critic ! The bathroom with bath would be good if we could gang the shower head up ? That is my only critic, as the bath is amazing 🙂

Thank you to our host for his welcome, the accommodation is very well furnished and functional, close to the city center, we were able to do everything on foot 👍

Great weekend spent in this apartment where I was able to relax and enjoy my time! If I come back to Perigueux, I'll stay there again 😁

Beautiful location on a pedestrian street, shop nearby, very beautiful village in the heart of the Dordogne, market on Thursday, very well-equipped apartment. Paid parking space. Just the bedding is not very comfortable because it is a sofa bed. Very decent set

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Sandrine & Stephan's beautiful cottage. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed, having everything we needed for a very relaxing stay. It is in a quiet location set above Bugues, with stunning views. Sandrine was very friendly and gave us lots of advice and tips for visiting places in the area which was really appreciated. They also showed us their beautiful garden which was a really nice touch. We had a problem with the washing machine and Sandrine and Stephan immediately stepped in to sort it out and fitted a new one the next door which we really appreciated. Overall a lovely stay in fabulous accommodation. Thank you.

The house - beautiful, an old building, high rooms, wonderfully cool even at over 30 degrees, if you close windows and doors during the day and darken. A wide cuddle sofa and a good TV for the evening. Despite the city, it is very quiet; now in June, in the evening, when the windows are opened, the calls of the swallows and other birds and sweet scent (linden?)A nice little garden. Everything very tastefully and stylishly furnished, very good beds - we would have liked to take the mattresses with us ;))). Everything is very clean. We recommend the second bakery on Rue Claude Bernard - also good patisserie, and the restaurant Sous les Tilleuils-, rue judaique - very good value for money, a young creative cook, charming, relaxed service. Excursion: definitely Brantome, pretty town, surrounded by the river, with boat trip (highly recommended, nice staff, information sheets in English, German and Spanish), and from there Bimbillou Museum, bar and food truck-shady island in the middle of the river.

Beautiful little terrace house in Belves within walking distance of the centre of the village. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants within. Five minute walk. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The steps to the outside terrace are very steep and could be slippery if damp but the area is lovely to relax in. Lots to see and places to visit in this beautiful part of France.

We had a great time with the family (with two young children and our dog). The accommodation was spotless, very clean, pleasant to live in and perfectly as advertised. The environment is quiet and relaxing, ideal for relaxing. The host was very welcoming and responsive to our messages, which made our stay even more serene. Check-in and check-out procedures are simple and convenient. We would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you again.

A very nice little cottage in the middle of Montignac. We rarely had such a nice AirBnB. Florie gave us great information and was easily accessible. This cottage is worth a visit.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. It is such a peaceful and tranquil place and the pool is superb. We cannot fault it at all. Thank you Jenny and Marc!

Beautiful quiet stay, a really quiet moment, a break in the heart of nature with animals. Elodie was really lovely and very welcoming. I would recommend it to my friends and family without hesitation. A corner of paradise for children

We had a very good stay, in a very well-appointed apartment, very clean, quiet and at the same time close to the center we wanted to visit. A warm welcome.

A perfect position, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, and easy to come and go from. The home was comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our 4 day stay. We did not meet our hosts, but they were very helpful in sending recommendations for sites and restaurants in the area and very quick to respond to our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this place as a perfect base for a stay in the Dordogne area.

Maggie has a well-equipped apartment, everything we needed was present up to and including an ironing board and iron. Apartment remains pleasantly cool at outside temperatures of around 30 degrees. The terrace has comfortable armchairs with footstools and a dining table with 4 chairs. During the day, there is a lot of traffic on the road that runs past the terrace and garden. Fortunately, there is little traffic noise in the evening. We could park our car on the premises and with 10 minutes walk you can reach Sarlat, as well as the Carfour market. Sarlat itself is beautiful but on a market day too busy for our taste. In the evening, it is a pleasant town for a bite and a drink.

Ariane's apartment is one of our absolute favorites! Very clean and well maintained, elegantly furnished, great location and Ariane is super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the apartment!
