Chalet holiday rentals in La Malbaie

Had a wonderful stay at Alexandre’s chalet. The location is very private but easily accessible. Well stocked kitchenware for any cooking, baking, or drink making needs. He provides plenty of firewood and linens. The hot tub is also a nice addition that is surrounded by peaceful forest. A very beautiful location!

Paule’s house on the hill above Sainte-Anne de Beaupré was a perfect spot for our getaway with friends we don’t see often. It felt like a very cozy country cottage, yet very spacious. The bedrooms on the main floor and second floor are really nice. Everything we needed was included in the house. The fully equipped kitchen offers a beautiful view of Ile d’Orleans when sitting around a lovely wooden dining room table. We just loved the place. The weather was rainy the whole time we visited, which is unusual for our long weekend in May, so we were not able to take advantage of her beautiful outdoor living space and spacious property. There are beautiful gardens around the property and a small stream at the back of the house. Paule was very helpful in suggesting places to eat out. The best was Brasserie des Monts, a 15 minute drive from the house. She also was always available to answer a few questions we had. A superhost for sure. We hope to visit again.

Le Chant des Baleines is an ideal refuge for a nature experience that combines large mature trees and an unobstructed view of the horizon, the majestic river and the lively company of various birds nearby. An authentic and peaceful getaway in the generous hospitality of a cozy chalet where everything has been planned for our comfort. Loved it!

A pleasant house and in which you feel good, close to La Malbaie, well-equipped and with all the amenities to enjoy it!

The porch was well set-up: tables, chairs, bench, parasol... And the view of the bay was beautiful. There's a nice walk (about 1.5 km) from the house down to a rocky beach. The kitchen was very well-equipped: all the things that you would need for cooking, coffee-making, etc.

We really enjoyed our weekend with friends. The cottage is super beautiful, the rooms are very beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The bathrooms are really nice and very clean. The dining room is spacious with its large table that can accommodate 10 or 12 people seated it's great, as for the kitchen with are big island it's really friendly. The kitchen is well equipped with plates, glasses, wine glasses, cups is... the only small downside we found is that often in rentals we find aluminum foil, plastic wrap, sugar, certain spices and it had none of that maybe it would be nice to put it is a suggestion. In terms of communication with the host it was easy and the response was quick. We had a small issue with a smoked detected in one of the bedrooms whose battery was no longer working and someone came to the cottage to replace the battery quickly. Thank you.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Tony's place so much. The house was very warm, clean, well maintained and we had all the equipment we needed (we did not lack anything). Description and pictures perfectly match reality. In the end, it was very easy to chat with Tony. I recommend this chalet without hesitation.

We had the absolute best time!! Even though the weather was overcast & very wet at moments, Caroline's chalet had lots to keep us busy. It was very clean & tidy, and they left a book out with all instructions as well as a website to check out local places to eat and things to do. We had an amazing stay, cannot recommend this chalet enough!!!!!!!

Loved our short stay! Pascal answered all our questions before we arrived and even after, when we had questions. We were 7 families (12 adults, 3 children and 1 baby) and everyone slept well! Very comfortable rooms, very large common areas with enough seating for everyone! We didn't miss anything in the kitchen for large formats either. It is certainly a chalet that we keep in mind for a future visit to Charlevoix :D Thank you so much for trusting us!

Beautiful family estate or for a quiet corner to walk in the woods and do some pedaling. Everything was perfect. The children loved playing in the water with the pedal boat and it's a very safe place. I recommend it

We had a great weekend at the cottage! It was very easy to access and well cleared of snow at the entrance. The place is beautiful and really quiet, our dog was very happy also to be able to observe nature through the many windows! It was perfect for exploring the Appalachian Park. Thanks again for letting us enjoy it!

Marie Claude was proactive before and during our stay to help us have a pleasant time in the chalet. The chalet matched the descriptions and was clean. You will be disoriented by the place that has its own lake and is so quiet!

We had a fantastic stay at Kanawata. The cottage was beautiful - very spacious, amazing amenities, comfortable, clean and beautiful views and surroundings. The pool table and arcade games were a big hit with our kids (who are in their early twenties), and the sauna and hot tub were a bit hit with all of us. The surroundings are spectacular, with lots of hiking trails nearby. The town of La Malbaie was about a 15 minute drive with lots of shops and restaurants. Sylvie was an excellent host - very responsive and gave us lots of great local recommendations. I would highly recommend if you are visiting the region with a larger group - any time of year!

This place was exactly what we wanted and needed. A genuine little cabin directly on the water with all the necessities you need without clutter. Clean, charming and peaceful, this lovely wood log home and its neighbouring houses are located on a very quiet lake surrounded by acres of virgin wood land. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck in the morning, the lake view from the living room, bbq lunch outdoors and relaxing rides on the water. The host, Frederic, is very responsive and helpful. We had a beautiful family weekend.

For a stay surrounded by forest and remote from the city, this is a perfect place. Excellent communication by the owner. Well cleared trail to get to the cottage, but as the owner mentions, if you arrive during a storm, it can be harder to get there.
