Gerhaegen nature reserve is within walking distance; princely De Merode is nearby, as well as Averbode and Diest. Numerous cycling route networks crisscross the region.

Er is parkeerplaats voor auto's, overdekte staanplaats voor moto's/fietsen. Er is een grote tuin en een overdekt terras met loungeset waar je tot rust kan komen.

Backyard club (cottage in the garden)

I am Hanne (musician and furniture maker) and live with my 2 sons in the cozy Herenthout. The cottage in our garden has been renovated in a unique way with as many recovered materials and furniture as possible. The furniture changes regularly and is also for sale! It is an open space with separate bathroom and toilet. The sleeping area can be closed off with a curtain.

Relaxing comes first here. In summer, you can relax in the lounge and fully enjoy nature. In winter, you can chill at the pellet stove. We are located at a bicycle junction. There is a Delhaize supermarket located nearby, 5 min. by car.
