Thanks to Laurence for her welcome, her very well-equipped accommodation (commechez soi), spacious with private and quiet garden. Beautiful birdsong and no disturbing barking. we enjoyed the calm, the Sainte Victoire mountain as well as the hike of the 2 dams (Bimont and Zola). Perfect

We had a wonderful stay at this modern villa in Saint-Marc-Jaumegarde, about 8 kilometers east of Aix-En-Provence in the south of France. It's a newer, beautiful, flat-roofed single-story building with two bedrooms and a huge combined living room and kitchen, all with hard floors throughout and lots of glass looking out onto a small garden and small pool. The owners built it for themselves and used to live here before they moved to the larger house next door, and it shows: the furnishings are comfortable, the rooms thoughtfully laid out, and it's equipped with a clothes washer, heated towel rack, stove, oven, and Krups espresso machine (bring your own coffee). The location is somewhat remote, so a car is mandatory. The nearest walkable food, fortunately, happens to be an excellent pizza truck often at the end of Chemin des Savoyards, next to a memorial to the U.S. 3rd Infantry Division, who helped expel the Germans from here in 1944.

Fabulous experience at Cécile and Didier's! In addition to being very spacious, the accommodation is really atypical, its vaults and stones give it a crazy charm (and a pleasant freshness!). It is carefully decorated, very functional, very clean and lacks nothing. The bathroom opening onto the bedroom is very nice :) We loved our stay in Vauvenargues: the village is really very cute too! We will return to Cécile and Didier's place without a second thought.

A small sunny break in a beautiful environment with soft colors of Provence. Celine was extremely kind and available, (thank you for the late welcome in the evening) Great tips about the stay. We'll be back!
