Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lac d'Hourtin-Carcans

Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage just behind the dunes of Écureuil beach. The location is perfect — peaceful and ideal for enjoying the sun, sea, and sand. There’s on-site parking for two cars, which is very convenient. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Accommodation decorated with a lot of taste and charm... the equipment and utensils are very well adapted... the jacuzzi is a real plus for the evening and the aperitif... :)

Great stay in an amazing house with kid-friendly hosts. Access to the lake on foot is a real plus. The house is very well equipped and nothing is missing, it's rare these days in Airbnb rentals!! Finally, Alex and Claire were lovely with us the whole stay with lots of tips and suggestions. It's a place we recommend without hesitation and where we'll be happy to come back!

J was extremely responsive and helpful! He was there when we arrived, showed us around the property, and made wonderful restaurant & activity suggestions. Because we arrived just before a holiday, he was very kind to help us make restaurant reservations for our entire stay; we would not have gotten in otherwise. The property was very centrally located - a short 1/2 block walk to Josie's Coffee shop; around the corner from a bike rental shop, bakery, grocery store, and the Lighthouse. We walked or biked around the town easily. The house was perfect - Cleanliness is super important to me and it was super clean. The house was recently renovated, had modern updates, and was very nicely decorated. The layout was perfect - each bedroom has its own bathroom. And, enjoyed sitting outside in the back yard at the pool in the late afternoon. This was a jewel of an experience for us.

We had a great time at Séverine and Igor's Airbnb. Everything was exactly as described, and it's even better than the pictures. You can easily walk to bakeries, restaurants and other shops in the center of the village. The kitchen is also very well-equipped for cooking. In summary, we would highly recommend this beautiful home and would happily stay there again.

We had a great time! The place was what we expected: super equipped, we found everything we needed even more . The hosting was very warm , very responsive when we had any questions. We would come back without a second thought if we had to come back to Arcachon!

Louis-Antoine was a welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable host who gave us a thorough and thoughtful introduction to both the apartment and the city. His recommendations for things to do and places to eat and explore in Bordeaux were spot-on and much appreciated. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beautiful Jardin Public, where we enjoyed several relaxing walks. It was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly felt at home. We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

Amazing, unique apartment. Very quiet and private, but still close to neighborhood restaurants and an easy walk to local attractions and shops. Henry is a great host - he was very helpful and friendly, and provided a great list of restaurants and activities. Definitely recommend!

This is a great apartment in the centre of Bordeaux within walking distance of the old parts of town and also near the river where there is a good tram route to some of the major interesting places. We loved the home feel of the place and the sound proofing was great, so that it was quiet despite being on a major road. It never felt too hot even though we had pretty high temperatures while we were there. Bertrand was great with communication and suggestions. All very easy and comfortable. We would definitely return here.

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and welcoming, on a charming street in historic Bordeaux, just a few blocks walk to the river and surrounded by wonderful cafes, bakeries, and shops. The arrangement of two bedrooms and baths was perfect for two couples traveling together. The kitchen was equipped with a Nespresso machine and tea kettle, as well as cooking equipment. There were fans as well as lovely windows to let in the fresh air. There is a small terrace off the back bedroom; however, it was locked off due to some safety concerns at the time of our stay, so we did not get to enjoy it. That said, we were not at the apartment much so it was really no big inconvenience. Ariele’s communication was great and she left a helpful guide with recommendations, as well as a map of the city which was very helpful being our first time in Bordeaux. We would absolutely stay here again!!

It was wonderful! First time in Cap Ferret and what a discovery! We loved it! The house was great, cozy and the terrace sunny! We all rode bikes and the location was really ideal between ocean and basin and not far from restaurants and shops! We can't wait to come back!!!

Aurelie's vacation home is simply fantastic! Great location, just a few minutes' walk to the beach or restaurants. The house itself is really very tastefully decorated, everything was very clean. We felt right at home. Aurelie was always available and responded quickly to questions. You can also sit very nicely on the terrace. All in all the perfect place to stay!

Had a wonderful stay, everything was great. The location was fantastic. There is a beach just across the road, and Arcachon is a little stroll. We travelled with various generations and it suited all! I would highly recommend.

This is the most beautiful AirBnB we have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate, the pool was warm, the hot tub was clean and there were so many lovely touches on arrival, including a bottle of red and white wine and a little bunny rabbit for my little girl. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you can need, including a racelette machine, air fryer and a washer/tumble. The area is amazing, so close to Creon and Bordeaux, surrounded by the most beautiful vineyards- I can’t fault it! Arnaud was the perfect host, so friendly and responsive and helped us so much in the weeks leading up to our stay, contacting various golf courses and restaurants. He also facilitated our early check in at short notice - which was hugely appreciated. This place is an absolute must and we are already planning our trip back! Thank you so much Arnaud for an unforgettable holiday!

stayed at the villa for 6 nights on a family holiday, it was the first time we'd attempted it as an extended family and the villa was perfect for us, the kids loved the pool, there was plenty of space for everyone (with enough bathrooms not to argue over) and 2 great areas to all sit together to eat dinner in the evening. Our hosts were lovely and helped us out when we got a bit lost finding the villa on arrival and were extremely responsive to any issues/queries while there, they even sent through restaurant recommendations for a birthday, would really recommend the villa, thanks
