The site trailer is quietly and idyllically nestled between an apple and a plum tree in the garden of our house. It has been converted and expanded architecturally and is a successful mix of old, preserved and modern elements. You have a great unobstructed view over meadows and fields, to Amöneburg, 10 km away. The site trailer is comfortably furnished for 1-2 people and you can even heat with a wood stove on cool days. In addition, the site trailer has a cooking facility, a coffee maker and a cooler, so you can take good care of yourself. The sanitary facilities are easily accessible 20 m away. In an appealing washhouse you can take showers, wash and walk to the toilet. Our bicycles are available for you to explore in the immediate vicinity, for example, the Rauischholzhausen Castle (7 km), the Wässberger Warte (3 km) and the university city of Marburg an der Lahn (8 km), which are to be mentioned with the Marburg Castle and its exceptional half-timbered old town. A small half-timbered house sleeps 4 - 5 people. On the first floor are the entrance area and the kitchen, upstairs the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living room. The bedroom has a double bed, 180 cm. In addition, there is a loft bed level for two people, 140 cm above the living room. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for 1 person. The ladder to the loft bed cannot be removed or locked. You should consider this if you want to travel with children.

You can reach the city center of Marburg and the main train station in about 10 minutes by car or comfortably by bus; the nearest bus stop is only a few minutes' walk away.

The kitchen is fully equipped and for morning coffee the garden invites you with seating, which borders directly on the forest. Even from the large shower, you can sometimes observe a deer in the forest. The bedroom is separated from the living and dining room by a sliding door. Through the large window front you have a beautiful view towards the city center.

In der unteren Etage des Gebäudes befindet sich unser kleines Hofcafé, das nur am Wochenende geöffnet ist. Von dort geht es über eine Treppe zum Loft. Die Wohnebene ist ca. 65qm groß, eine offene Schlafebene ist über eine weitere Treppe zu erreichen!

Welcome to our apartment "Gebrüder Weintraut" in Marburg's oldest street (Weidenhäuser Straße). As a former leather goods store of our ancestors - the Geberei family Weintraut - we now welcome you to the newly furnished ground floor apartment of this historic house from 1530. The famous poet Dietrich Weintraut lived here in the 19th century.
