Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Charles

James's river front home was amazing! I spent several days with my 3 best friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. This place was perfect for everything we wanted and more! We all had our own private and extremely comfortable bedrooms. Mornings we'd chat while looking over the river from the upstairs living room. The downstairs kitchen was a nice size. We cooked and the four of us fit just fine. We loved eating, chatting and playing games around the large, comfortable dining room table. Mornings were spent sitting on the outdoor swings while sipping coffee. During the day they had river traffic. We saw someone kayaking, several pontoon boats and jet skis. We sat on the dock to watch the sunset each evening while dangling our feet in the river. One day I plan to return with my family. The home would be perfect for my children and grandchildren. The home had ping pong and foosball tables and a lot of good board games. The yard was large and they even had an area an area for pickle ball

We really loved our stay there. Perfect place and great to have our family over for brunch. We got to fish, hang out outside and enjoy the area. Gerald was very nice and responsive. Overall great and would definitely stay again!

This is my second time staying here. Had family flying in from out of state and thought this was perfect setting. From check-in to check-out it went without a hitch. Couldn’t ask for a better host. Highly recommend. We will be back!

The Reel N Rest was perfect!! Great place, very clean, spacious, and is situated in an area that affords maximum privacy. Plenty of room for relaxing. Fishing Charters meet you at the dock. Highly recommended. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Randy's place was perfect for our family's needs- we love to fish. Right around the corner from the marina & enough space for our group to hang out after. We really enjoyed!

Stunning views of the lake and water areas. It was so peaceful to swing by the water or sit and watch the water. Outside and inside were perfect. Next time we will bring our boat. Fishing looked to be amazing. We can't wait to book our next stay.

If you want a clean home, bird watching, peaceful surroundings, a water view, and pet friendly accommodations--this is it! We loved the balcony view of the river and the downstairs screened porch view of the marsh and river. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again.

Had a great time staying here! Lots of space, large front porch, and a boat shoot/cleaning station is very convenient. The ice machine was the icing on the cake to top it off! Would defiantly recommend.

We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect. Big enough for my family of 5 plus my dad. And I really appreciated the simple check out instructions. We had a great stay.

Great place to stay…. Didn’t have to leave to go crabbing or fishing. Not far from town if you should need anything. Definitely will be back. Johnice replied to my text messages questions very promptly.

Amazing stay and looked everything like the pictures presented. All hosts were great and responsive if any problem or questions arrived. Loved the neighborhood and loved the scenery. I’ve been waiting for this review opportunity so I can say how much we absolutely loved staying at this property!! The house was gorgeous and everything we needed was there and in working condition! The host was amazing and so helpful, quickly answering our questions and working hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves! They even had a welcome basket for us! We cannot wait to go back!!
