A beautiful yard and unique cabin, peaceful place

The cabin was exactly as advertised, very clean and comfortable and had everything a group would need. Chad was responsive to questions and offered an early check in if needed. The stairs down to the lake were steep but he warned about those as well. Hot tub was wonderful and outside amenities were fun! Great place for a big group and families. The only hiccup we had encountered was, after we cleaned thoroughly and checked out I was told there was a small stain on the sheets and we would have to purchase new sheets, even though we did a deep clean and walk through of the house like it was my own. There was a dispute over it as I didn’t see it and felt it was unnecessary to expect that of a guest especially since washing them should take care of the problem, and I was surprised to say the least that he wanted to charge us for a full king set. We did not end up replacing them but it was an unexpected exchange. Due to that conversation it gave my group and I a reason to not rebook.

Such a nice place plenty of room and had everything you could ever need. The hot tub is only open during the winter season which I didn’t notice until I was there. That’s the only thing everything else was perfect.

Warren was attentive and helpful. The cabin is quaint and comfortable. Very happy dogs were allowed without massive fees like many other places. Rustic is a good description as it has some updates but definitely in the older side but still very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay with an awesome environment we had absolutely no issues! Only thing for us was a misunderstanding on my end when I booked it on air bnb, it says you can bring up to 12 guests but we had 2 people who had to sleep on the floor. I’d say it fits 10 adults very comfortably with people sharing beds something I should’ve just looked more into!!

we have stayed at many AirBnBs but this one was one of my favorites. We loved the architecture of the home and the view of the lake was amazing. We loved exploring Alexandria and coming back in the evens to relax and do some fishing. It was a great stay.

This lake house was amazing! Super spacious with tons of room both inside and out to relax and hang out. The views of the lake were absolutely gorgeous!! The house had everything we needed, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out without ever feeling crowded. Lisa was awesome, she was really responsive and easy to communicate with. She made sure everything was smooth from start to finish. Overall, just a perfect spot for a laid-back, relaxing getaway. Would 100% stay here again

This has been the most favorite stay of all the Arbnb’s we’ve stayed at. We felt right at home and the lake front stay was so beautiful, relaxing, serene, and peaceful. We had enjoyable canoe rides on the lake and the lake is very quiet considering the amount of cabins on it. The hut was so darn cute and very comfortable. The cottage was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and cozy. Kudos to the comfort of the beds too. We loved the front porch that looks onto the lake to play games and read a book on one of the rainy days we had. Kitchen is a great space to cook a good meal. Very close to downtown and entertainment and shopping venues. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the best time at the cottage! Highly recommend!

Place is in one of the most beautiful locations on the lake, a great neighborhood. Sarah was very responsive and went above and beyond!

Pristine and beautiful location, felt totally private and relaxing. All the amenities we could want for a quiet family vacation at the lake. LOVED the kayaks!

The Broodio at Moonstone is wonderful! Audrey met me when I arrived, we had a nice chat, and she gave me a little tour of the property. The Broodio had everything I needed, the bed is super comfy and the setting is peaceful and quiet. Audrey has a summer kitchen that I would have loved to use, but I was there just one night. Next time! Thanks, Audrey!

This place is vert clean, beautifully decorated, and very "hygge." DesiRae graciously provides just about anything you might need. The screened in porch with the lake view is my favorite part. We had a lovely stay!

Rachael and her husband were wonderful. We had slight trouble with the lock (user error). They responded immediately, unlocked it remotely, and came to the house quickly to rectify. My son loved fishing for the first time off the dock, and we saw four pelicans each morning in the bay. They had everything needed in the kitchen to make family meals during our trip.

We had a great time here! A very secluded property and it was very easy to find. My husband enjoyed canoeing around the lake and fishing and my dogs enjoyed swimming and running around sniffing through the wooded parts. It was so quiet and peaceful, and the cabin had everything we needed.

Felt cozy and very private. We were the only ones at the cabins this weekend, which was actually perfect. Lots of area lakes within minutes, bait shop at end of road was great. Cabin was very clean and modern, AC was great. It doesn’t have a TV or WiFi but was perfect for a reset and the quiet was absolutely needed. Had a fire Friday night as the wind and storms didn’t allow for any other times. The Cabin had a comfy bed and couch and all the amenities you would need. Check in was easy and Amy was quick to answer any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again !

This was a great spot close to town. I really appreciated that the house was well stocked with paper products, towels, essentials, and cleaning products! The Xbox was a lifesaver during our rainy stay.

Beautiful getaway in north central MN. The fall colors over the lake were breathtaking and the cabin was the perfect retreat for a group of friends. Spent nights around the bonfire swapping stories. Would definitely recommend. Ev was so responsive and very pleasant to communicate with, too.

Four of us— two adults, a college student, and a 7-year-old— loved our long weekend at this property. The lake was beautiful and peaceful, and we were grateful for the use of the kayak, paddle board, and pedal boat. The home was pristine and thoughtfully appointed— it had everything we needed. It was very handy to have the convenience store down the street, and Alexandria just a short drive away for dining/shopping options. 10/10 would stay again.

Dennis was a very kind and considerate host, and the house was perfect. All of the kitchenware seemed very new, including all of the non-stick pans. Little things like that make a big difference.

We really enjoyed staying here and we would come back again. The home is beautiful inside and out. This is a great place for couples. The bed was very comfortable. This is probably my favorite Air BnB I’ve stayed at.
