Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake O' the Pines

The house was so cute! Very cozy and we felt right at home. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry, BEAUTIFUL screened back porch with TV, outdoor dining table and had a fan and heaters. We were not lacking anything! The one and only downside is there are trains running through town very near the house about every hour, day & night, but it didn't ruin our stay in the least. Make sure to take a stroll through the neighborhood to see the beautiful historic houses and magnolia trees!

This was our first little family vacation for our blended family. It was absolutely the best and absolutely beautiful place we chose from. There was plenty of beds for a family of 6, 4 teens and 2 adults, couch space, and dining. The teens LOVED the slide on the side to use instead of the stairs! It's close enough for little day trips to Lindale and Jefferson; and the bait store was a short 10min drive. We would definitely chose this place again every time. We'd give this place 5+ stars if we could!

A Hidden Gem Near Barnwell Mountain! We originally chose this Airbnb because of its location—it’s just minutes from Barnwell Mountain, which made it incredibly convenient for our off-roading adventures. But once we arrived, we absolutely fell in love with the place! The home is beautifully decorated, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. From the comfy beds to the peaceful outdoor space, every detail made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The host was responsive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We’ve stayed in a lot of places, but this one stands out. Whether you’re hitting the trails or just looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway, this spot is a winner. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Tammie was one of the most gracious hosts I have encountered. she was very helpful and flexible. she even helped my friends with a place to stay as well! Grade A 100% class act!

Enjoyed our first trip so much we went back for a second! The cabins and amenities at Old Camp Joy haven’t to disappoint us. The view of the lake is amazing and the entire area is so peaceful, safe, and quiet. The cabin was squeaky clean and Mike was a very nice and attentive host. Highly recommended any of these properties if ever in the Lake O The Pines area!

We loved our stay at Burning Daylight! Such a beautiful home, fantastic view of the lake, and very private. The home was beautifully designed and very unique. Our group loved drinking our coffee looking out over the lake in the morning, and sitting at the massive kitchen table playing cards in the evening. Lexie made the check in process very easy for us, and was proactive in providing the instructions for our stay. We would definitely come stay again, highly recommend!!

Beautiful, secluded property.

Patricia and her mother were the consummate hosts. I had business in town at the courthouse and Patricia and her mother made sure my stay was comfortable from start to finish. I would not hesitate to come back if I ever needed to return to Linden. The backyard is very large, has a pool with a fountain, and towering pine trees on three sides. I enjoyed spending time in this part of the State and Patricia and her mother really made me feel at home.

Lisa's lake rental was exactly as described and so much more. The house is the prefect getaway in a quiet beautiful setting. Lisa is the perfect host and her house is decorated beautifully. We highly recommend staying here, it will not disappoint!

The guest house was private, peaceful and beautiful! Our children loved the pool and views from the pool and porch were outstanding. Our kids loved horseback riding with Elizabeth. We purchased some beef from the ranch and it was delicious. Desiree was very responsive when we had questions and hosts were very accommodating. Pure Texian hospitality!

Fun AND relaxing getaway all in one! The surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable! Host was so friendly and accommodating- above and beyond! Even though the space is on shared property, it still felt private and comfortable. Would absolutely go back!

This was a fantastic refuge for my husband, me and our pets while our home in Longview was undergoing renovations. It was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is very convenient to everything in central Longview. Being within short walking distance to the Guthrie Trail is a very nice perk. I would gladly recommend Chris & D'Anna's place to anyone looking for convenient, clean and affordable lodging in Longview!

We visit every year and are always so happy with our stay. It’s a great home with comfy beds, gorgeous surroundings, and all the things we need for a fantastic family vacation!

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

It’s was nice staying here neighborhood was nice and quiet. As for the home it’s was nice and clean plenty of room there. I highly recommend staying with Angela she was very helpful when needed with anything .

Best sleep I’ve had in awhile! The essential oil detox bath was amazing and had me so relaxed! Donna covered all details and is a delicious cook generously offering gourmet breakfast in the morning. This is a true hidden gem! Worth the drive out of the way if you are deciding between 2 locations.

Curtis was great at communication and quick responses! Our stay was peaceful, quiet, comfortable and homey. We enjoyed the covered front porch and watching the storm that rolled in. Our twelve year old enjoyed staying in the loft, it was her own private retreat! We found a perfect spot in between the bathroom and our bedroom that fit our pack n play perfectly and was close by our bed for the baby. The kitchen was great, stocked with coffee and a spacious area. We enjoyed our stay overall for the location, comfort and price! Would recommend staying in this cute little home away from home!

We enjoyed our short stay! We had everything we needed provided and James was beyond helpful! He responded quickly with any questions we had. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and we will definitely book again when we’re in the area!
