Lovely wooden cabin at the bottom of garden, very close to river, with separate access via a side walk along the main house. 5 minutes walk from a diving platform for wild river swimming. Walk to Totnes high street in 15-20 minutes along main road, or take the 20-30 minute beautiful riverside walk. The house is very close to the cycle route to Dartington/Totnes. We are also only a 20 minute (uphill) walk to Dartington Hall. Beaches 20 minutes drive away, Dartmoor national park 20 minute drive.

Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. Set in the village of Ponsworthy, directly on the Two Moors Way and within short driving distance of many of Dartmoor’s Tors, walks and beauty spots is Quinn Tor with its own beautiful hill and river front, mature oaks- and a rock formation we lovingly call our own little Tor. The Wheelhouse is set on Quinn Tor and has been lovingly converted into a unique and beautiful barn with tranquil, comfortable and modern interiors. It is a much loved home and we are now happy to welcome guests!

This spacious one bedroom barn overlooks the courtyard and features a four-poster bed private bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub for 2. A fully equipped kitchen plus washer/ drier. The property sleeps 2 persons as standard and our pricing is based on 2 guests. There is a sofa bed available in the property which can sleep 2 additional guests, ideal for kids or friendly adults.
