Cottage holiday rentals in Launceston

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

We had the most wonderful time.The location of the property is great for exploring and the setting so peaceful! The pictures perhaps did not do it full justice as it was even better!being in a bath over looking the countryside was next level! Clare was very clear on the whole process of how to get to the property,check in,ideas for places to visit and things to do.The personalised written message and goodies are special touches that mean a lot so thank you!cannot praise everything about our stay enough!we hope to be back!X

We had a wonderful week at Abel’s Cottage, very peaceful rural location. Katy was very welcoming and suggested some stunning walks and great places to eat. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

We stayed in the cottage for 5 days. The garden was like a small, beautiful paradise, someone has very green fingers. The tub and views were amazing. Inside the cottage was exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you would ever need, of a high quality. Great comfy bed too. Excellent location for exploration. Marc and Amy were fantastic hosts! They provided everything promised. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness toward their guests is apparent. Marc gave us a thorough tour and history of the property which was fascinating - especially coming from the states where buildings aren’t nearly that old! Our only honest regret is that we didn’t book a few more days so we could spend more time on the property to explore and appreciate the hard work they’ve put into its upkeep and restoration.

We had a great stay here in the village of Sticker. It is on the main bus route from St Austell to Truro, so was very easy to get to from the train station (which is next to the bus station). Steve & Sue were very welcoming and helpful, and the cottage had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. There is a pub and a village shop/post office a short walk away, so very convenient. We hired a car and found it very easy to get about as we were so central. It was lovely to come back after a day’s sightseeing to the peace and quiet of our cosy cottage (and sit in the garden when the weather permitted!). We would not hesitate to recommend Steve’s cottage!

Maypall Cottage was a home from home. Beautifully decorated, everything you could wish for on our short holiday break. St Tudy is a lovely friendly village, local village community shop, brilliant pub and restaurant. Just a few minutes drive from the beautiful beaches at Rock and Daymer, great for dog walking. We loved it.

Great place in a quiet setting. Walks to the beach possible and loads to do in the area. Super comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was lovely as was the sitting room (with a fantastic log burner) and outdoor spaces

The accommodation met our needs perfectly 👌 Great location and we were blessed with beautiful weather 🌞 Rosie was an excellent host always quick to respond to any questions and very informative when giving information. We would highly recommend the Granary and what the area has to offer.

Leat cottage was a lovely and spacious place for us to stay for our visit to the Cornwall/Devon border. We definitely hope to go back in the future. Fiona was a great host who communicated well with us.

Had a lovely stay in Russell Cottage. Extremely clean and well equipped. Short walk into town and to a choice of supermarkets.

We had a fantastic time at Swallows Cottage! The welcome was very friendly, the quiet location was relaxing, and the lovely and comfy house has everything you need and more – especially the kitchen, which is perfectly equipped with everything. We really, really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again :)

We had a fabulous holiday at Badgers Sett, staying in Rosemary Cottage. The location was perfectly peaceful and beautiful whilst still local to main road routes to access all of Cornwall. The cottage was really lovely, homely and comfortable with everything you need for a self catering holiday. We stayed for 10 days and cooked at home most days and the kitchen and appliances were great. The shower was BRILLIANT! Perfectly powerful and had a good hot setting, just how I like it! Jules was really helpful and does a fantastic job of taking care of guests as well the accommodation and gardens. Thank you for a really lovely stay, we look forward to coming back!

We had a lovely stay here for our ‘babymoon’ - I didn’t fancy the idea of flying at 7 months and the Cornish coast is a perfect spot for feeling like you’re in another country! Sarah’s place is exactly as described, but it’s also very quiet considering how close it is to the harbour and local pubs. Clean, comfortable, a true home away from home. Thank you Sarah!

Very comfortable cottage with high end amenities with everything you need. The ponies and the moors are literally right on your doorstep. Hot tip: Walk to the Nine Maidens and take a hidden path behind the houses from Belstone to Sticklepath to visit the National Trust Finch Foundry (we loved the tour)!

We had a fantastic week-long family holiday in Cornwall and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The property is absolutely stunning—set in private, peaceful surroundings with beautiful views. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxed visit.
