The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Private room with full autonomy

The ROOM (without kitchen) is completely self-contained, private toilet and bathroom, access through a private entrance to the accommodation. It is located in a part of our house and can ideally accommodate 2 people (up to 3 if necessary, extra charge of €10/night). In the event that the 2nd bed (armchair convertible into single extra bed) is necessary, even for 2 guests, an additional €10 will be charged upon arrival. The room is to be left clean (or €10 cleaning fee)

Charming house located by the water near the medieval village of Bruniquel. You will appreciate its large garden without neighbors, the shade of its oaks, and the local fauna (birds, squirrels...). The calm of nature will recharge your batteries. Its park, its private beach with direct access to the river offer many activities: swimming (progressive water level), fishing, canoeing (at your disposal). Nearby hiking trails will offer you nice walks.

We offer a upstairs cottage, adjoining our family home, with an old dovecote and a bread oven dated 1613. It is located in the countryside, in a hamlet of 3 houses, the nearest town Graulhet is 8km away (town of 15,000 inhabitants) in the center of the Tarn. It has views of the Pyrenees.
