Monthly Rentals in Layer Marney

Had a lovely stay in this lovely cottage. Had everything we needed. Comfortable and cosy. Bed was so so comfortable (and huge!) Location was perfect for us and within good distance to where we visited. Great to have offroad parking too. Trevor, our host, was great. Very good communication. There if we needed anything but not intrusive. Couldnt fault anything!

Our stay at Layer Marney Tower was way above what we had hoped for. Nicholas and his wife were most welcoming and had reserved our parking place outside our apartment. The apartment was beautiful and well set up. Fresh produce was provided as listed, and complete sets of towels and flannels and bath toiletries. My partner was invited to play the organ in the church twice, once when no public were around, and again after the church service this morning. I would thoroughly recommend staying. The peace and calm and beautiful gardens are balm to the soul and the four poster bed was great fun. We went to see an opera, but we will be going again. Thank you Nicholas for such a magical stay.

Karen’s Cartlodge is absolutely beautiful — exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches like cozy blankets and throws. The bed was very comfortable, and the well-equipped kitchenette included handy basics like tea, coffee, and sugar. Set in a peaceful area, it’s perfect for a relaxing stay, with a great pub just a 10-minute walk away. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or stay again! Fantastic communication from Karen from booking to end of trip.
