We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

We had a very good stay with friends and our children. Christophe welcomed us and we toured the property together. Listing exactly matches the photos and description. 30 minutes from the zoo, we were able to enjoy the pool and the children were delighted! The house is in a peaceful and very well maintained place. Christophe was available if needed but everything necessary was already in place to have a good stay! I highly recommend it!

Great stay under the sun. The pool and the large outdoor table are great. The children had everything they needed to have fun. The hens had little chicks during our stay, to the delight of the children. I highly recommend this listing There are also many visits and walks to do nearby.

Quality stay between idleness, calm and good atmosphere. Corinne and Paulo made us feel at home, a sunny welcome and sharing of common areas as if we were old friends. The setting and the house are beautiful. I recommend it!

I stayed at Valérie's sweet cottage for 4 days in June, and everything was perfect. The setting is so lovely - it was truly hard to leave. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return sometime soon. Thank you!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Very spacious and generous house in a very quiet location, exactly what we were looking for. The house is very rural but surprisingly central to many castles and attractions in the area, easy to reach by car. In this respect, it is ideal for us. Communication with Jocelyn via Airbnb was always good, fast and helpful, unfortunately we do not speak French and Jocelyn does not speak English, so direct contact was only possible to a limited extent. The kitchen is fully equipped, we found everything we needed.

Very good stay. Jérôme is a very friendly and responsive host. The accommodation is very clean and very well designed. The exteriors and the interior are tastefully arranged. Access to the cottage is completely self-contained. One place to safely park the vehicle with a plus mention for the charging station. We strongly recommend this listing that matches the description.

very pleasant stay, tastefully decorated house, functional, quiet, peaceful and with great comfort. A very, very large and wooded garden where naps under the weeping willow make us dream and decompress. The grocery store, the bakery, the butcher shop are within walking distance and the icing on the cake is a small restaurant where you eat very well and cheaply. Beauval Zoo and castles easy to access. A big thank you for the little touches, whether it's the treats or the basic necessities. very nice stay. The place is absolutely stunning - super spacious, stylish, has everything one may need on vacation and even more. The terrace is a jem - we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. The area is very serene and quiet. And Celine is an amazing host, extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely would recommend and would dream of returning again!

This is our second stay at Solange’s beautiful, peaceful and charming property, which is perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley. This quintessentially French property was perfect for us in every way! The kind of property we normally pass and remark on as to how lovely it looks….and it’s just as perfect on the inside too. The bed is comfy. The lounge is interesting with its unique wood burning stove and the kitchen full of interesting crockery, plus all the essentials to cook a great meal including a new Smeg oven! The shower is fabulous and it’s always lovely to find that the host has supplied a good supply of towels, loo rolls etc too! The outdoor space is really pretty and a lovely place to sip a glass of local wine. There was even a small car port for soft top car to retreat under when we had a rain shower. Thank you for your hospitality Solange and we look forward to a return visit soon.

We had a wonderful stay in this very functional accommodation, spread over two floors. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by a small gift that added a warm touch to our welcome. The cottage is surrounded by a splendid garden, offering a quiet atmosphere, with horses as neighbors. The location is ideal, just 2 minutes' drive from Cheverny Castle and 20 minutes from Château Chambord. In short, this cottage is a perfect place to visit the region and enjoy moments of relaxation. We highly recommend this rental!

Very nice cottage, clean, very well equipped and very pleasant, quiet ideally placed to radiate between the different castles of the Loire and/or Beauval Zoo.

We really enjoyed our stayed at the Gite. The location was perfect for exploring the Loire Valley, and it was very close to Blois if you wanted to stop at a grocery store, etc. The pool was fabulous and our daughters really enjoyed it after a day of chateau site seeing. Cathy is a very responsive and delightful host and she gave great recommendations. The Gite was very well appointed and had a very nice kitchen for preparing meals. One nice surprise is that there was so many great walks you could take from the Gite, with a chateau or manor at every turn. I feel fortunate to have stayed at such a lovely place.

We had a great time at Aurelie's home. Everything was as described and the communication was perfect. The house is very quiet, well-equipped and ideally located in the heart of the city with all the shops and restaurants nearby. It is an ideal location for a family stay close to the castles of the Loire and other activities offered in Sologne. For a first experience with our 6-month-old daughter, we couldn't have hoped for better and we recommend it 100% 😊

We stayed at Patricia's with our two kids under the age of 3. The accommodation is convenient with small ones (2 stairs with doors on each side to avoid falls). Two comfortable bedrooms at each end of the home, it is possible to make the children sleep while having no risk of waking them up. Shops nearby, small terrace, large park with a small pond and chickens. Patricia and her husband are kind and available. Chateau de Cheverny within walking distance. We'll be happy to go back.

Accommodation as described, spacious and very quiet. Ideal for relaxation. Very well located for access to the Beauval zoo and the many castles. Florence and Pascal are welcoming and available hosts and attentive to travelers. We would definitely recommend them.
