The center of Katwijk also offers lots of nice boutiques where you can shop to your heart's content! The cottage has been completely renovated and is ready to welcome the first guests! The apartment is within walking distance of the city center, supermarket, bakery, butcher and delicatessen shops and only 10 minutes by bike to the beach of Scheveningen. The entire house has been recently renovated, preserving as many original details as possible.

Recently completely renovated, it has a spacious living, kitchen, 3 bedrooms accommodating up to six persons. Situated along the hiking path 'Grote Polderpad', you can visit wind mills, spot waterbirds, and enjoy the alpaca's at our farm (shearing occurs this weekend). The house is ideally located for day trips to the beach, Leiden, Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Kinderdijk, etc.

Enjoy the freedom, the outdoors and the many birds and other nature scenes that take place around the houseboat. The houseboat was completely renovated and modernized inside and out in 2020. In 2023 the exterior will be (partly) equipped with another paint color. The ark is ready to offer guests a temporary home.

Furthermore, our vacation home is a good place to take trips from there to, for example, De Keukenhof. Leiden, Delft, The Hague and Amsterdam can also be reached within half an hour by car.

It is beautifully situated: on a quiet, spacious park (Sollasi), 2 km from the beach, near a recreational lake and close to cosy villages and cities (such as Noordwijk, Zandvoort, Leiden, Haarlem, Amsterdam and The Hague). So plenty to do but also lovely to "come home" to after a day at the beach or an outing.
