excellent stay, with a beautiful welcome from Eric and his spouse. comfortable accommodation. Very nice pool. this place to stay was unanimous with our three couples. Large shopping area nearby. if you want to visit the city of Carcassonne this is the good place.

Absolutely loved staying here! We were greeted by Barbara who was very friendly and helpful. Also greeted by her friendly cat and dog! Perfect parking for the motorbike in a private yard behind closed gates. Excellent location for exploring Carcassonne on foot. Only a couple of minutes walk to the medieval city and maybe 20 minutes into the newer part of town. Everything you could want in the accommodation including a washing machine. Carcassonne is an amazing place and we 100% recommend staying with Barbara if you are lucky enough to find it available.

A very friendly welcome with a very appreciated welcome gift. The house is as described. Very nicely decorated, extremely clean, very comfortable (top bedding). The environment is also very pleasant (very nice view) and very quiet. Many shops within 10 minutes' drive.

We (family with 4 children) and our 2 dogs had an Extra stay in Ladern sur Lauquet. Brigitte is very responsive and friendly. Communication was smooth and our host was very accommodating. This village house is warm and the village is peaceful. An ideal place for those who appreciate being in a quiet place with the added bonus of being only 15 minutes from the city of Carcassonne. Around the village, it is easy to find paths to walk in the forest or in the vineyards. And to swim, no need to take the car. Calm and clean place! Perfect to relax in the middle of nowhere.

My husband, my two dogs and I have been very comfortable. The studio is very nice and well insulated from all noise, you hear absolutely nothing, the privacy you have there is priceless❤️. My dogs could get into the stream that is inside the property to wet their paws and lie down in the cool water after the walks. The studio is very well thought out, it has everything you need to cook, the bathroom is super comfortable with two sinks, the TV with Netflix, although it is small, it does not feel overwhelming at all, the pool area is a true paradise, super comfortable that it has a kitchen there since we could do a barbecue after swimming, we had tea time in the delicious hammock that was in that area and my dogs loved to hang out there lying in the sun. Helene and Thomas have been wonderful hosts, very respectful, kind, funny, and warm. We'd love to come back. The town is wonderfully quiet, slowLife is lived there!

Ingrid was very helpful. The house was perfect for our 2 week stay, had everything you would need. The location is very peaceful and relaxing, the views from the house are absolutely stunning! We hope to visit again in the near future.. Thanks again Ingrid!

Small house at the foot of the ramparts, just incredible! The decoration is very nice, perfect for 4. Clean accommodation and great jacuzzi 👌🏻 Alain and Karine were very welcoming with cold water and orange juice and very accommodating for an accommodating and late departure. Very good experience, I recommend the accommodation and the hosts!

We had a great stay in Carcassonne. The apartment is very cozy and comfortable. Sabine is very friendly and welcomed us warmly by giving us good advice for visiting the city.

We stayed in one of the gites for a week. The property is amazing and very quiet. So much outdoor space that even though the grounds and pool are shared you are never competing for space. Aline and Pascal were very welcoming as was Sweetie their cat. We found nice walks from the property and would recommend Mirepoix for a visit especially on market day. The gite has everything you need, great cooking facilities and access to a washing machine. Thoroughly recommend the property and area.

Coralie’s place was beautifully clean and her welcome lovely and informative. Unfortunately we did not have the weather to enjoy the pool which looked great. My wife booked primarily because of the bath which did not disappoint her. À lovely hideaway.

We had the absolutely best time at Sadie’s. 1st the place was gorgeous, the pool area was perfect to just sit and kickback after walking the city & Castle (Cite). Sadie and ‘The husband’ as she calls him were always present and available for information or just a chat. The apartment we stayed in was in the back of the courtyard was absolutely prefect, 1 bedroom, living room and a very awesome bathroom, we had a washer which really was great and was super private and quiet. We have been traveling Europe for 3 mos and this was our favorite stop, best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. They even had a continental plus breakfast for a very small fee. And their dogs (Big Luna & Baby Luna) made our day!!!!!. We highly recommend Sadie’s who want to stay in a great location, and wonderful B&B, with the best couple!!!! Plus Carcassonne is too bad LOL

It was a great pleasure to stay at Eva's: very relaxing, we felt right at home, the spa is great and there's the possibility of having a bbq. What's more, there's a booklet with information on things to do in the area and places to eat. I highly recommend this place.

This has got to be the most beautiful Airbnb we've ever stayed in. The indoor space is roomy and has air-conditioning - an amenity that has been hard to come by during our time in France this summer. The outside space is out of this world. The pool is set amidst a beautiful garden and has comfy furniture for lounging. The home is right at the foot of the hill that leads you straight into the walled portion of the city. The location can't be beat! I can't recommend Carole's place enough!

Fantastic apartment in a great location on Place Carnot, brilliant value for money! Even though the apartment is located on a busy square the noise does not travel up to the apartment and once the doors are closed it blocks any noise out. The bedroom is located in the back of the apartment which is great for privacy. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for breakfast, taking in the atmosphere of Place Carnot but in the comfort of your own space! The Carrefour shop is right below the apartment which is very convenient. Central location to walk around Carcassonne. We had to message Manuel a few times and he was always very quick to respond. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, great apartment!

Right in the centre of Carcassonne yet the most peaceful / quiet place there is! I had a very lovely time at Barbara's, it felt like a mini-holiday despite staying for work purposes. I tried to find negatives to say but couldn't really find one! Both the apartment and the back-garden are really lovely, I will stay there again when I am next back in Carcassonne.

The place is faithful to the photo presented on the site. It is perfect for a romantic getaway or for friends wishing to be in direct contact with nature without being far from all amenities. It is also close to very interesting historical and natural sites as well as hiking trails. A thank you to Joël for his warm welcome and discretion. Warm and attentive welcome from Barbara. And immersion in nature, which includes the use of separate dry toilets for needs, ants and spiders, isolation. But the comfort remains excellent with hot shower and wood burning stove. The awakening with the birds is magical, the total calm, the proximity to the Galamus and the precious castles.
