Summer, Visit York and surrounding areas in the sunshine. Enjoy luxury accommodation in a desirable location near York, Harrogate and Castle Howard. Our converted barn in landscaped gardens, has two double bedrooms, the main having cast iron free standing bath. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds. The open plan kitchen and living space is an ideal living area, with another quiet sitting room on the first floor overlooking the gardens, our house being adjacent. We also have a 7kW EV charging point.

The Potting Shed

Our converted milking parlour in the heart of the York plain is a unique one bed, self contained tiny house! With access to York and the surrounding area, it is a perfect place for a weekend away or a longer stay for business, retreat, escape. There is a bus that runs from just outside to York. They do not run at the weekends during winter and never on a Sunday. There is a train station 3 miles away. Parking is available on the road. There is a shop 2 minutes away. No pets or children.

The Flat

This luxury loft style apartment has its own large indoor hot tub, pool table, 65"TV with sky UHD, Alexa with unlimited music, jukebox, super king bed and balcony with panoramic views of the valley. Whether you are staying for a special occasion, a weekend away, or one of the Piece Hall gigs, the flat gives you the best of both worlds- views over the valley while still being in the center of town. With bars, restaurants, and the retail district close by for supplies and some retail therapy.

Fig Tree Cottage

Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. There are a couple of pubs and the Lock House Pub serves food and takeaways.

It benefits from single storey accommodation and has views overlooking the garden and fields to the rear. The property's location offers the best of both worlds, a peaceful country retreat yet only 7 miles away from the hustle and bustle of York City Centre with all the sights and joys it has to offer such as the world famous York Minster, Bar Walls and Shambles.

The Annexe is located in the pretty village of Great Ouseburn, 10 minutes from the market town of Boroughbridge and a 30 minute drive from both Harrogate and York. The Annexe offers excellent value for money. Comfortable, cosy and well equipped accommodation, everything you need for a relaxing stay for a couple of days or longer. Although it is linked to my home, It is self contained with its own entrance, giving guests their freedom and privacy.

Approx. half way between York & Harrogate off the A59 in the Charming Rural Village of Nun Monkton which has a beautiful 18 acre Village Green complete with Duck Pond & Maypole, the Alice Hawthorn Inn is well worth a visit (or 3!!!).
