We spent our vacation here as a family of 5 with a dog. We were exceptionally warmly welcomed and also looked after during the stay. Veronique and her husband had an open ear for all questions and immediately supported us. The house is very clean and beautifully furnished with a lot of heart. No wish is left unfulfilled! The garden is huge and very well maintained and beautiful, both the children and the dog were overjoyed!! We will definitely come back and recommend the accommodation 100%!

David’s place was the perfect quiet rural setting we wanted. Perfectly located to explore both Normandy and Brittany. Very comfortable house, especially the showers, and a great private parking space as well. David welcomed us in and then just let us be, which we very much enjoyed – unfussy and easy going.

We had a great weekend at Nicolas' cottage! The house is really spacious and very pleasant to live in. Nicolas came to welcome us and show us around the house. We really appreciated the little attention to our dog (bowl available and suggestion of walks!). We slept very well, in the quiet of the countryside. Thank you Nicolas for the kindness of his welcome!

Great stay at Nadège's, who came in the evening of our arrival to say hello. Nadège is welcoming, helpful and responsive when we needed her. Very nice house, clean and pleasant… and the garden: just beautiful, huge, quiet and not overlooked. We and our 2 dogs were able to enjoy this great sunny weather. We recommend 100%! The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We had an amazing stay at Regine and Eric’s idyllic property, they could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The property is bursting with character and has all necessary facilities. The grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Damien was such a great host. He happened to be grabbing dinner the same time we came into town so we stopped at the same pizza place. He offered to take my husband and kids to the house a few km away and then came back for me as I was waiting for the pizza. This was so thoughtful after a long 9-10 hour drive with a lot of children. He was so kind and personable. Super proactive and offered suggestions in the area. He really went above and beyond. His house was perfect for our needs as a large family and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house was exact as described. everything was in good working order. Nothing was broken or falling apart. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

An excellent stay in an exceptional setting. Located near the Houlgate Golf Course, this peaceful haven offers many activities on site (darts, foosball, table tennis, volleyball, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, pinball, billiards, karaoke). The perfect place for an EVG or a multi-activity stay with friends. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the accommodation is very well equipped and close to Houlgate for walks on the beach!

The hosts are super friendly and have made sure you feel completely at home. The facilities are super neat and very modern, you will not be short of anything. We enjoyed every minute of spending time in this beautiful place. A gem! We absolutely recommend this place.

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

A wonderful place to stay in rural Normandy. Jean-Francois is an excellent, friendly & helpful host. La Baronnie offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway, with excellent outdoor space to complement the cosy lounge and kitchen/diner. Gouvets is a lovely quiet village with nice walks, and well located for the major sights and attractions of Normandy

Great house for visiting Normandy with 4bed/bath..fully renovated but with old world charm...for summer lounge chairs and bbq and fireplace for cool nights... location central enough to visit from Entretat to Mount Saint Michel....resteraunts and stores walking distance and a great short hike to cliffs and Omaha beach
