Perfect stay, amazing location. Clean and neat. Could not have asked for a better few days. The location is great and lots of things to do near by. Mick and his wife were wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay over Easter 2025 with extended family. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The property is very well maintained and we found the kitchen to have pretty much everything we needed for our short stay. The views are breathtaking and we loved sitting on the balcony looking at the gardens and views towards the Severn. Very much appreciated the welcome basket Jim left for us, easter chocolates, wine, milk, crisps and apple juice, such a lovely gesture and so kind. The house is close to some lovely walks. Its also a 15-20 min drive from Mallards Pike/Go Ape - worth a visit! . We would definitely stay again at Stone Cottage if we were in the area. Recommended.

The lodge is a very tranquil space tucked away and surprisingly quiet. The space has been thought out extremely well and the attention to interior design is very impressive. The co-ordinating colours were relaxing yet vibrant and every piece of furniture had functionality in mind. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend

We absolutely loved our stay at the Wordsmith’s Cottage. It was perfect for what we needed; roomy, clean and homely. We were so grateful to come ‘home’ each night after being out all day exploring.
