The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. What a fantastic place. location was brilliant, everything on the doorstep with fantastic views of the harbour. the flat is like a home from home. Ruth's communication was fantastic all of the way through, and we even got early access which was welcomed after the long drive. this is our second time back to Ruth's home and we will be coming back again! thanks Ruth for making it such a lovely stay.

Second time I've stayed here. A beautiful cosy flat in an amazing location. Amazing view of the abbey from the front step! Pippa is a brilliant host.

Really comfortable. well equipped kitchen, Anne even left me a cafetiere after I asked last time if there was one. plenty of hot water, good shower, and comfy bedroom. And walkable to the beach. everything I needed for a 3 night work stay.

My partner and I had a great time staying at Debra’s place in Seaham! Exactly as described in the listing, the apartment was spotless and well presented, left us wanting for nothing. Debra was a great host, suggesting different local restaurants and points of interest. Ashoka Indian and The Lamp Room are both well worth a visit on the sea front. Thanks very much and hope to stay again soon!

Excellent location - being so close to the beach and the town was fantastic and made our holiday so easy and enjoyable. The space was exceptionally well stocked and comfortable and we had a wonderful sunny weekend. Thanks Julie!

We had a really relaxing couple of nights here. Amanda was really helpful and friendly. The apartment had all we needed and we enjoyed just sitting sometimes and watching life go by outside. The food in The Royal George was wonderful. We will definitely come back again.... just wish we could come more often.

A restful and peaceful stay in beautiful settings. Dave and Katy are fab hosts and everything is explained with clear instructions. A lovely apartment with sea views and is a home away from home.

The accommodation was great, really spacious and included everything you needed- the photos don't do it justice! It is in a great location to walk into town or towards the sea. Our hosts were responsive with any queries we had; the parking permits were a great bonus for us, we were thankful they were included. Would definitely stay here again.

A recently refurbished spotlessly clean apartment. Great value for money. A very short distance from the beautiful Redcar beach which our dogs loved. Dogs welcomed. Great location for exploring local area. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay. Was shown to my accommodation by a very friendly guy who also explained all the amenities to me. The hot tub was a real bonus and really enhanced our stay.

May was a very accommodating and understanding host. We felt right at home. The serene and quiet environment was just what we needed to enjoy a very relaxing rest after toiling through Durham during the day.

Fantastic place to stay, great location has everything you need and more. The only thing I would say is the main door downstairs to get in is quite tricky the key needs to be wiggled quite a bit to get it to open. A hard turn to the left gets it working once you know how. We loved our stay the home is gorgeous inside and couldn’t recommend staying here enough. We are already looking at dates to book to come back in a few months time

Great stay!! Hot tub was immaculate so was the cottage , sofa and bed extremely comfortable and clean. Would 100 percent return here!! Only thing I think it should be 11am checkout and 2pm like alot of other lodges/cottages. Thanks for the little break

Great place to stay for our friends hen party.. appears like a house in the pics but its actually an apartment with a lovely outdoor terrace and hot tub. Spoke to host who advised us to pull up and offload the car outside the property, and then move to suitable places to park nearby. Great place for a weekend with friend, had everything we needed

Stayed here for a night with some friends for a birthday get together.. we all had a fab time and couldn’t believe how amazing the place was inside, even more amazing in person than the pictures! So much detail and space, almost feels magical I don’t think you could have the same experience in a regular hotel or home. So much effort has been made to make the place enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn’t thank Jennifer and Brian enough for welcoming us and being so friendly and helpful, overall great experience we had a fab time! We will be back Thankyou again xxx

My wife and I had an amazing 2 night stay. Great location and fabulous views. The Hot tub was superb, we were lucky enough to catch two beautiful sunsets. Whitby centre is only a small walk away, with loads to do. Will definitely be back.

Had a great few days here. Comfy beds & cozy duvets were almost too tempting to leave. Place was clean and as described. Easy check-in & check-out.
