Welcome to stay in a winter-inhabited log cabin converted into a cottage on the slope of Käränkääpää. The accommodation is located close to Koli National Park and Koli ski slopes (about 6 km). Behind the cottage there is an illuminated ski trail/recreational trail. In summer, there is the opportunity to take a dip in the adjacent pond, about 200 meters away. The accommodation has beds upstairs for four people. The stairs up are very narrow and steep (almost a ladder)! The cottage has a kitchen, toilet, shower and infrared sauna.

You can experience the unique nature and national landscapes of Koli by visiting the famous Ukko-Koli (approx. 5.5 km). There are also several cycling, hiking and skiing trails nearby. Koli village is about 5 km away

In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

Pielisen ranta, pyöräily- ja kävelyreitit ja hiihtoladut ovat lähellä, vartin ajomatkan päässä kaupasta, maisemapaikoista, vaellusmestoista, satamasta ja muista käyntikohteista. Log cabin equipped with modern amenities (59m2+19m2) on the shore of Lake Pielinen in Loma-Koli holiday home area. In area is several holiday homes. Views of Lake Pielinen from the windows and terrace. 40m to the beach (shared pier). Illuminated ski slopes, hiking trails and mountain biking trails can be found in the immediate vicinity of the cabin. The cabin is a perfect choice for families and couples. The landscape of Koli National Park is enchanting both in summer and winter!

Little cottage in the tranquility of nature

Nature's peace is present. Neighbors are not visible and very rarely heard. The area marked in green in the last picture (3ha of forest land) is available for dog activities or even for riding an ATV. The rivers converge on the plot, creating a fair amount of coastline. You can sit on the river bank in the evening and listen to the otter or beaver splashing. Or a worm-eater surprising prey. Behind the river, I find a sandy desert covered with pines and lichens.

Loma-Kolin mökkialueella, Pielisen rantamaisemissa Kolin loma-asuntomessuille 2006 rakennettu paritalohuoneisto. Rantaan 50m, ei laituria, mökin vierestä menee rantaan tie / polku, jonka kohdalta oikealle rantaa voi käyttää. Rannalla soutuvene, joka yhteiskäytössä Koliwood A:n kanssa. Rakentamaton rantaviiva jatkuu todella pitkälle ja vasta 500m päässä tulee vastaan camping alue.
