Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lombardy

The accommodation is beautiful - the fantastic view the absolute highlight. The premises are super divided & the house is very charming. Would book again immediately! Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's not easy to find a parking spot.

The House suited us perfectly. We loved sitting outside in the courtyard for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. It’s part of an amazing group of 16th Century buildings around the central courtyard. Once inside the gates, it was quite quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we enjoyed cooking there. The area is amazing with easy access to Lake Garda, Verona, and wineries in Valpolicella. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment attached to the main house but very private , you have you own little patio area to sit outside that’s not overlooked by anyone . The apartment is immaculate and lots of nice little touches , lots of provisions provided including toilet pater , shower gel , washing up liquid etc. There are 2 restaurants within 5 minutes walk , we only ate at the one up the hill and the food was amazing and reasonably priced . Our 2 dogs loved the freedom of the secluded countryside and the geese that lived there were securely fenced off . You can hear the noise from the adjoining house but if you have quiet neighbours it’s not a problem .

The accommodation is spacious, super clean and the local pizza place is a gem. Luca is a fantastic host who is extremely friendly and goed the extra mile with local recommendations. Just a fantastic place!!

We liked the house and its location very much. It is located by a stream, whose rushing did not disturb us. We did a lot of hiking from the house, and we usually didn't meet anyone, it's that lonely there. Only on the weekend was there a little more going on. The kitchen is well equipped and on arrival we stocked up on plenty of food so as not to have to move our car for as long as possible. Everything necessary for baking and cooking is available. After the hikes, we always used the sauna after we had fired up the stove with the available firewood and brought the sauna to temperature. If you want to be available 24/7, you may have to find another place. Network and thus also the WLAN were not always available. We didn't mind.

The view was even better than the photos could portray! Serene, cozy, and the perfect place to explore the surrounding area. Our daughter loved the animals and we would return in a heartbeat. Definitely need a car to access and it’s certainly rustic, but it has everything you could need and the charm of this place is second to none. Grazie!

Nice host and sister who welcomed us. We had to hand in our bags long before check-in. And also check in much earlier. Everything you need at the property. All the amenities. In addition, the accommodation is even better and much more original than the pictures tell. Super happy, the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed in.

We were very warmly welcomed by Silvia. Check in was very smooth. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed spending time there. Silvia gave us great tips for the area. The absolute highlight is the balcony and the pool. We will be happy to come back!

The rental was beautiful with an amazing view. It took 10 minutes to get to town by car. Easy drive to Varenna and Bellano. The outdoor patio was great with a large area under cover.

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

What an incredible stay! Michele’s place has everything you need to feel at home, all in an amazing location. There are enough amenities nearby such as the convenience store and 2 restaurants/bars, along with bus stops and even the dock for ferries across the lake. The views from every window and the rooftop are stunning. Thank you, Michele!

Fabulous place in a gorgeous town; we loved our stay and the hosts were great. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend. Me, my partner and our two dogs had the opportunity to live a relaxing and pleasant stay. A little house full of details and equipped with every comfort was truly a Nest of Love surrounded by nature. Breathtaking scenery and views. Monica welcomed us impeccably and made us feel right at home. Ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax in touch with nature.

A very nice house located directly on the lake shore. The house is well maintained and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are also basic amenities such as coffee capsules ( Nespresso), mineral water and spices, etc. The location is perfect with wonderful views of the lake, both from the garden and from the balcony. The house is very quiet and away from the tourist hustle and bustle at the harbor. It is only accessible by boat or at walking distance. The island bus has a stop at the top of the village a 10-minute walk) and does not go down. An absolute peace plus. In the village upstairs there is a good butcher and a supermarket, 2 restaurants and 2 bars. Floriana is an extremely accommodating and very friendly hostess with whom you can have a very good conversation. The house is perfect for time of shutting down, but also for hikers. Since the garden is fully fenced, the dog can roam freely

We had a very lovely and relaxing time at the Villa. Diego was a friendly and helpful host and provided many great tips about the area. We visited in winter so the neighborhood was particularly quiet. The views of the lake were magnificent! The only suggestion would be a more modern TV and WiFi that reaches through the whole house. Outside of that, a very special property. Having a car is a must given the distance from the nearest village.

This is a beautiful apartment in a prime location that has a parking spot, but you don't need a car. The apartment is a very short walk to the lake ferry service, the town square and a C10 bus stop. You can walk to Menaggio Piazza Roma Bus station in under 10 minutes if you want to take the bus to Lugano, Switzerland. The apartment is beautiful, with historic decor and modern conveniences and a lovely terrace. You can hear some street noises, but the apartment is very private. Roxana is very easy to communicate with. Thank you Roxana! We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home and even better view of the lake and surround towns. Really what we wanted to get a relaxing yet fun experience. Would definitely come again and highly suggest for anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

Alberto and Bruna were the perfect hosts. They felt like old friends when it came to leave. We loved everything about their gorgeous home and such a tranquil and peaceful garden with beautiful plants everywhere. Thank you for everything!

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. The villa is truly enchanting, more beautiful than can be appreciated in photographs, especially the outdoor areas: the garden is really very large and well-kept, while the clean pool is unexpectedly deep (complete with a diving board). Both the garden and the house offer a wonderful view and the environment was cool and ventilated. The house is spacious and very well maintained, especially the bathrooms! The owner was so kind as to allow us to postpone the check to 8:00 p.m. instead of the morning to let us enjoy the whole Sunday. Really a wonderful experience, to be repeated!

Wonderful place! 100% would stay again. Easy to park and go. Amazing views and comfortable accommodations. Even had a welcome basket! Local store has wine for $4 and you can grab items for breakfast before you set out. If going downtown get there early for parking. Great dinner spots all over. Elena was the best guide to meet us and get settled in. Amazing flute player as well. We loved our villa in Bellagio!
