(nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

Beautiful Smålandshus in vibrant village. Room for a maximum of 12 people. The house has seven rooms and a spacious and well-equipped country kitchen. Two bathrooms with shower and WC. Washing machine and dryer. In the garden there are football goals, swings, barbecue and outdoor furniture. Some bicycles are available to borrow Public fine swimming area with jetty and swings at Lake Linden. Canoe and rowing boat are available to borrow. Sights: Astrid Lindgren's world Vimmerby. Stay in our cozy guesthouse with private garden. Close to, among other things, Astrid Lindgren's world (20 km), Katthult and Bullerbyn. In Mariannelund there is also Filmbyn Småland, Karamellkokeriet, Ica, nice natural areas with lakes etc. The house consists of a large combined kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (a total of 7 beds + a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room), a toilet/shower and laundry room. Note: You clean before check-out (unless otherwise agreed) and bring towels and sheets yourself

Meet our lovely red cottage in Småland surrounded by forest, hills and lakes. With all the comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood stove. The house has a big private garden where you can relax and make a campfire at the fire pit. Go fishing or take a swim in one of the lakes nearby. With a bit of luck you see deer and foxes from our sunny porch. Go skiing at the ski-slope, visit a moose park or go down the zippline. From April to October we rent out 2 kayaks.

Cozy apartment 15 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's World. The accommodation is on the third floor of the house with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen and a new small bathroom with shower. You also have access to a dining area in the garden. ICA store, playground and Mariannelund's candy factory are within walking distance as well as several swimming lakes. Please Note: You clean before check-out and bring your own towels and sheets. No pets allowed.

Stay in the countryside in Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby. The farm Skuru is located near Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25 min drive to Astrid Lindgrens Värld Perfect for guests who want a quiet and pleasant holiday in the countryside. In 2020, we have renovated a kitchen, groventré and laundry and also built a brand new bathroom downstairs. Here is close to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

The Drängstugan in Mariannelund

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the farmhouse Emil's friend Alfred lived in, but much more modern inside 😁 It is a large leafy plot that is shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forest. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.
