The log house has fresh air, you get a good night's sleep. A respite from the hustle and bustle. The location is central: 1 hour drive to Helsinki, 30 min to Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna 40 min. The house was built in 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and a cottage in the countryside. The personal log house is like the story of Pippi Longstocking, not everything is completely finished - but the atmosphere is atmospheric. A wonderful villa in the Nuuksio National Park

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

Is there a hot climate in the southern Europe right now and still getting worse when the summer season goes ahead? Why wouldn't you make an alternative holiday trip to Finland? We don't have ice bears on the streets, not at all. What we have is a fresh, green and humid nature. The temperature approx. +20 and a bit cooler nights. Swimming, forest walkings, rowing boat and our especially friendly way to take care of our foreign guests. This is Finland, only 4 hours flight from your home.

This unique villa fits perfectly to families or several couples. The house is from 1960ies, and represents Alvar Aalto style. There is a separate sauna building with wood burning stove - after the sauna you can chill on 70 sqm terrace and grill yourself a nice dinner listening to the birds singing! The surroundings of the house are very appreciated and calm - however, the bus stops are located only a few hundred meters away! It takes ca 30 minutes to travel to Helsinki City center.

The brand new holiday idyll, located directly on the lake, offers peace, comfort and will let you take off into a "no-stress" sphere - at the latest when you have paid a visit to the fire-heated Finnish sauna. The large window front wall of the main house as well as its fully glazed terrace doors provide light and a wonderful view of the lake. There is a rowing boat and a kayak available. The hot tub can be rented for a fee of 130 EUR.
