A super base while working at Badminton Horse Trials. Very peaceful and beautiful, and only twenty minutes from the event. Gil was away during my stay but couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. A couple of notes — bring shower gel and shampoo, as there isn’t any in the bathroom. Likewise there wasn’t coffee in the jar but I imagine this is usually restocked! WiFi is patchy, so if you’re on a work trip, just be aware that you won’t be able to do big uploads at the cottage — it intermittently went down entirely but as I finished my work at the event each day it was okay for me.

Beautiful place to stay. Mark and Jackie are so friendly and helpful. Lots of information provided for places to eat and things to see and do. Beds are so comfy too! Would highly recommend.

We have just returned from the most wonderful stay at this property. The finish of the property is beautiful and the hosts were extremely friendly and chatty. At check in, Rob talked us through everything and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is extremely peaceful and quiet and we loved waking up hearing the birds . The surrounding area was lovely too and Lacock is a great place nearby to explore. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We hope to return one day and explore the area further. Would recommend a stay here to any of our family and friends.
