The house is located in the Almedina (“city par excellence”, in Arabic), which is the highest part of the city; the house is part of the so-called Consolation Arch, which is a gateway to the entrance to the walled city, and is the work of Almoravids. It is made up of streets that evoke times or places of the more typical Arab construction. Its center is the Plaza de Palacio, flanking the Castle and Church of the Mother of God; and, next to it, the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.

The tourist accommodation is located in Zuheros in the heart of the Sierra Subbética in the South of the Province of Córdoba.
