Ham's Haus is the definition of hygge. Our stay at Ham's Haus was incredible. Claire and Jenner have created an amazingly well thought-through, well-designed retreat. It was the perfect spot for a three-day mini-honeymoon, with our dog, after our Minneapolis wedding. It was impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and made cooking fun. We spun ~20 different records on the record player while there; it was great to explore the curated albums they had prepared, and lovely to have them beamed throughout the whole house through the smart speaker Sonos setup. We also enjoyed completing a puzzle together by the warm fire. Our dog loved the heated floors, dog bowls, and massive dog bed. Lazy mornings, delicious coffee, and fresh breakfast were exactly the retreat we needed after a crazy wedding weekend. The primary bedroom was warm and comfortable and made sleep easy. We loved feeling surrounded by both comfortable luxury and nature all around us.

We will be back as soon as humanly possible. Not only is the home beautiful in the most amazing area, our host was the best we’ve ever experienced. We’ve stayed in Air BnB’s for years across about every state, and have had great hosts. Ann showed them all up. So responsive, friendly, accommodating, with tons of recommendations that were spot on. Truly someone who cares for their home and love the area. Well worth the price!

This is a modern, comfortable house in a great location! It provided a central headquarters for our family reunion as we golfed, hiked, ate, shopped, and rode bikes. Our host (Nick) struck the perfect balance of being responsive while still respecting our privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing place to stay, that is private and not too far from the lake and town. Kids didn’t want to leave this place! Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Lutsen area!
