Die Ferienwohnung liegt etwas oberhalb von Churwalden. Es hat einen wunderschönen Gartensitzplatz mit Sitzgelegenheiten und einem schönen Grillplatz. Des weiteren genießt man eine Wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Berge. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had a five-star experience all the way. Upon arrival, I instantly wished our stay had been longer than merely two nights. Super friendly hosts, squeaky clean appartement, renovated with hearth-felled passion in a sustainable way. The kitchen is well-equipped, both in terms of appliances as in kitchenware. The view from the window was so stunning that even on a rainy day, I could have sat there for hours, watching the clouds drift through the valley, revealing shifting layers of depth and beauty. Clutter-free, yet very cozy interior. After dinner, the snug pillows invited us to connect the high quality beamer provided by the host, a project our favorite content on the huge wall. Great location to start a hike right at the doorstep. Timing allowed us to buy locally baked goods, manufactured by one of the villagers, before moving on to our next destination. Each bite, brought back souvenirs of our stay in Maladers. Definitely hope to be able to book again.

We hebben genoten van deze tussenstop van 2 nachten. We kwamen uit Rome en wat een verschil in ritme. Heerlijk om in de bergen te zijn. De omgeving is prachtig en de bedden waren goed. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Een plek om te onthouden voor een volgende vakantie. Bedankt Flavio!

Sehr ruhige, zentrale Lage. Parkplatz auch für unseren Gäste. Zum Wohlfühlen!!

This place is absolutely lovely and perfect for everyone, no matter the age. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, with a great location close to everything you need. What I loved most is that the house has all the essentials—just like staying at your own home. It’s incredibly clean, and the host takes such good care of everything. You can truly feel the warmth and care in every detail.

Ich war 4 Tage vor Ort und ich konnte mich aktiv und sehr gut erholen. Die Gegend ist berauschend. Ich habe mich ausschliesslich aufs Wandern konzentriert. Bei der nächsten Besuch werde ich das Bike mitbringen - da gibt es auch sehr viele schöne Möglichkeiten. Das einzige was zu beachte ist, die Sommer Saison startet erst am 5.7.25. Ich war im Juni da, dass heisst, viele Bergbahnen und Restaurants waren noch geschlossen. Dafür hatte ich die Wanderstrecken für mich alleine.

What a lovely place in beautiful Appenzell! Berti was the best host! Showed us to the apartment and explained where everything was. Quite roomy! Nicely decorated. Kitchen had good assortment of spices and coffee/creamer. The rooftop was amazing with the views and totally private. Totally walkable from train station and shops , restaurants. It does get a bit warm and a little street noise. Would definitely stay again !

Gemütliche, schön eingerichtete Wohnung mit sehr praktischen Faltsofas und einer riesigen Sonnenterrasse. Gerne wieder bei einer anderen Gelegenheit.

Tolles kleines Wohlfühlhaus mit coolen Möbeln und wunderbarer Aussicht!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub in Allgäu. Petra und Hartmut sind super liebe Menschen. Das Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir hatten eine Liste mit Empfehlungen was man machen kann, wo man Essen kann usw. Kaffeemaschine und Kühlschrank waren vorhanden, sowie Besteck und Geschirr, sodass man jeden Morgen schön Frühstücken konnte. Wir haben das auf der Terrasse bei tollem Ausblick gemacht. Was zu beachten wäre, ist das Alle Supermärkte um 20 Uhr schließen. Alle Einkäufe sollten vorher erledigt sein. Das Restaurant 2min Fußweg entfernt Brauerei Gasthof Engelbräu ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Our stay at Janine‘s home was beyond anything we could have imagined. The setting is heavenly. We hardly wanted to leave the house. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing for hiking, which was the purpose of our trip. Janine greeted us when we arrived and spoke with us in perfect English, which was very helpful. Janine was helpful all throughout our stay giving us hiking recommendations as well as local eateries! The pictures on the website absolutely do not do the home justice. Every single person we met in the area was beyond kind and friendly.

Căn phòng vô cùng sạch sẽ. Không gian yên tĩnh và có đầy đủ các thiết bị bếp, giặt, sấy… rất thuận lợi. Host rất gần gũi và hỗ trợ rất tích cực. Tôi đã đặt nhầm ngày và được hỗ trợ điều chỉnh lại ngay mà ko gặp khó khăn j. Chúng tôi gặp chút trục trặc về ổ cắm điện tròn nhưng rất bé nên thiết bị của tôi không cắm điện được. Có vẻ như ổ cắm ở Thuỵ Sỹ cái lỗ bé hơn. Ngoài ra mọi thứ hoàn hảo!!

Spectacular location and a house that matches.. we had a lovely time, very well designed and built house, takes fully advantage of the beautiful scenery out side, highly recommended.. PS.. this applies for only during May-June ‘25 as the road in front of the house is getting repaired, it is important to note that there is only walking access to the house. This means that guests will need to carry their luggage for certain sections of the route from the parking lot.. just to provide clarity there is no option to drag your wheeled luggage to the house, it will need to be carried. Just wanted to provide this clarity as I thought this was assumed by us.. although the host had communicated to use about the access but this aspect was not clarified.

De communicatie met Gerda vooraf en tijdens het verblijf is prima. Bij aankomst heeft ze ons alles laten zien en alles uitgelegd. Gerda is erg vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Ze dringt er op aan om niet te schromen iets te vragen. Ze reageert snel op onze vragen en check tussendoor of alles naar wens is. Het appartement is prachtig ingericht en in onberispelijke staat. Je voelt je er gelijk thuis. De ruimtes zijn groot en modern. Er is een hele grote tuin met prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Al met al dus zeer aan te bevelen.

Wunderbare gemütliche Wohnung mit Allem was man so braucht. Für unsere kleine Hündin Malu war sogar eine Decke bereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr Willkommen. Danke Varinia und Alex für den schönen Aufenthalt

Really nice appartment perfectly located in Walenstadt. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and both roomy bathroom and living/diningroom. Highlight is the nice view from the living room as well as the outside area. Fully and well equipped: comfortable beds, the kitchen incl. dish-washing and coffee machines, living room featuring TV incl. gaming console, grill in the exterior area. Some details went beyond expectations: bathroom with pleasant toileteries, complete equipment to grill outside. Location is really convenient. Aprox 10 min walk from both the centre of Walenstadt, as well as from the lake and the big playground for the kids. The area is residential area, at the very end of street hence quite and reassuring for the kids playing outside. Michaela was a wonderful host, preparing the appartment up to details, and also answering questions and helping us to make the stay even more convenient. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Wir hatten einen rundum angenehmen Aufenthalt! Die Kommunikation mit dem Host war hervorragend – schnell, freundlich und lösungsorientiert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir, wie entgegenkommend er war: Für jedes kleine Anliegen wurde umgehend eine passende Lösung gefunden. Auch die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal. Sie ist sehr gut an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr angebunden, sodass man problemlos auch ohne Auto anreisen und die Umgebung erkunden kann. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert!

Angenehme Wohnung, man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. Sehr gut eingerichtete Küche zum selber Kochen, unkomplizierte und schnelle Kommunikation mit René sowie gute Lage, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten/ÖV/Bergbahn praktisch zu Fuss erreichbar.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub! Die Wohnung ist einfach top: Sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und toll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Die Lage ist zudem auch richtig gut. Man kann vieles relativ schnell mit dem Auto erreichen und auch von der Wohnung aus kann man schöne Spaziergänge/Wanderungen unternehmen. Greta ist eine exzellente Gastgeberin, man kann sich keine Bessere wünschen. Sie gibt sich mit allem so viel Mühe und kümmert sich hervorragend um ihre Gäste…gibt Tipps, macht sich Gedanken mit Ausflugszielen, Wanderungen etc. - einfach großartig! D A N K E ! ! !

Die Wohnung ist super. Leider ging es mir bei Anreise nicht gut (wir waren nur auf der Durchreise nachhause) und haben uns dann entschlossen weiter heim zu fahren :-( Trotzdem waren alle sehr lieb und verständnisvoll.

One of the best Air B&B locations we’ve stayed at. The view was incredible and the town was great for outdoor adventures. Hiking and skiing from the front door. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day. We’ll be back!

Nous avons réservé pour passer un week-end entre amis. le logement de Thomas est parfait, charmant et bien équipé. Il faut compter un peu plus d'une dizaine de minutes pour aller au centre à pied, mais l'endroit est calme et la vue sur le lac est imprenable

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit in Churwalden genossen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer sehr gemütlich und auch sonst hat es alles was man braucht in der Wohnung. Unserem Sohn hat vor allem der Tischtennistisch im Keller sehr gefallen. Wir können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist gut und die Wohnung ist auch mit dem ÖV gut zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Bernadette war sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
