Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Lydney

Penny was a fantastic host, she kindly gave us fresh bread and the best brownies. She was very responsive and showed us around her fantastic apartment. Thank you for having us and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to start in the Clifton or Bristol area.

This property is in such a beautiful village, that we never wanted to leave! The space is bright and airy, w/everything needed to be comfy. There’s a binder w/everything you need to know, plus info about the 2 local pubs & dining options, etc. (Thurs. night at the Catherine Wheel is a MUST!). You won’t find anything remotely touristy in the village, which is why we loved it so, but it’s perfectly situated for easy drives to Bath, the Cotswolds, Diddly Squat Farm & The Farmer’s Dog (for Top Gear/Jeremy Clarkson fans), and so much more! Check out Soho Farmhouse in Chipping Norton for a truly fantastic outing! The Goat Shed has a double gate behind which you and your vehicle are safe and secure (although there’s no need for concern of that in Marshfield!). A grass lawn awaits your pet or children to play in, with zero risk of danger or escape. These 2 ladies from Canada and the U.S highly recommend a stay here (just bring a face cloth, as that was the only thing missing)!

We had a lovely long weekend with our 2 grandchildren. Lots of family friendly activities close to hand. A good selection of evening venues to enjoy too.

I had a great stay! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is excellent—right in the city centre, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, but still quiet at night. The price was very reasonable for the quality and location. Communication with the host was fast and clear, and check-in was smooth. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again!

Amazing location in Clifton, in the heart of Clifton. village. The flat was so quiet and peaceful at night, it was perfect!

What a great quaint place in a perfect location! Keep in mind it’s busy with lots of people but you are right in the middle of everything which makes this perfect! It had everything one would need for a few days which was greatly appreciated! We would highly recommend!

Beautiful, well equipped and clean apartment right in the centre of Bath. The icing on the cake was the beautiful view of Bath Abbey, impressive both day. We would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it highly.

Absolutely pristine and beautiful home. A lovely open-plan kitchen/dining area opening out onto a sun-soaked patio with further outdoor seating. A really sociable space. Immaculately clean. Plenty of parking. Felt very safe and secure. Aaron was very responsive and helpful. We also enjoyed a fabulous breakfast at the Felt Cafe at the bottom of the road - definitely recommend!

Such a lovely place. Sadly, I only had a couple of nights and one day to really enjoy it, but I immediately looked to re-book upon departing, and although the dates I looked at did not work, I will definitely return. Joe was really friendly and helpful. The house is lovely, well-designed and thought through with plenty of space. The weather was a bit damp, but otherwise we would have also thoroughly enjoyed the lovely garden with its seated areas and hot tub. Many thanks for a lovely break

Really enjoyed our stay thanks. There was 10 of us, for a family celebration weekend. The property is next-door to the castle. Which was also wonderful to visit after our check-out. House was beautiful. We appreciated the barbecue and table football! Big TV. Good showers. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of peace and quiet. The family loved it.

A great venue for a family get together. Lots of activities for young and older kids! A well equipped kitchen made food preparation easy. We all had a good time

We had a wonderful stay at Sean’s! He was very accommodating & had his kitchen fully stocked-which was great after traveling! He gave us information about the surrounding area, and answered our many questions! His home was very clean & neat, and very welcoming! We highly recommend Sean’s Airbnb!!

A little piece of heaven. Just perfect for a few days of R&R. Although, the amount of walking we did there wasn’t much rest. The views from the balcony are something else, we somehow managed to lose 3 hrs sat there on our first afternoon. The location is perfect for getting on to the A40 and to further afield. We did not take advantage of the pool or saunas (which, now home feels like it was a wasted opportunity). The pool area is beautiful, and can see in the depths of summer being a real treat. From the booking Ruth was so helpful in giving us recommendations for where to visit and eat. Take the advice when it comes to The Angel Bakery in Abergavenny! It is out of this world. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the pavilion and hope to visit again.

Peglars barn was a truly beautiful place to stay. We visited for 2 days and it wasn’t long enough. The moment you walk through the doors the backdrop is jaw dropping and it doesn’t get old! I chose peglars barn as a place to propose to my now fiancé and it was perfect. Thank you Sophie for being a great host!

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

We booked very last minute, and George was incredibly accommodating—couldn't thank them enough! The place was easy to find, and even came out to say hello in the morning—so sweet and friendly! The apartment itself was lovely, very private and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like snacks left for us. We really appreciated everything and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay to explore Upton and the surrounding areas. Apartment is great in a central location right in town, easy walk to anywhere in Upton. Carola and Rick were great hosts, good clear instructions and helpful information. Apartment was spotless (thank you to their housekeeper Emma), and would highly recommended both the Regency Apartment and Carola and Rick as hosts.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jane Austen’s former home—charming, quirky, and full of character. The apartment is beautifully restored with a perfect mix of historic detail and modern comfort. From flagstone floors and Georgian panelling to surround sound and a rainfall shower, every space is thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the light-filled kitchen overlooking a rose-filled courtyard and the cozy, art-filled living spaces. The location is ideal, right across from the Holburne Museum and Sydney Gardens, and Maxwell was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and attentive. Sitting at the wooden desk, it was easy to channel your inner Austen, finding inspiration here. A peaceful, welcoming home that made us feel both transported and completely at ease.

Great location, just over Pulteney Bridge so nice and quiet at nighttime but very easy to walk over to the main attractions during the day. Lots of great restaurants etc. very close by too. The apartment itself is impressive! The scale is larger than the photos, all very spaced out with lots of room. The design is great and everything was spotless. The kitchen had amenities to be able to cook at home. Great window coverings to allow complete blockout at night, however also allowed through flow of air during the day. As advertised, it is upstairs, so something to note. We were made aware there were renovation works on the apartment upstairs, however they were all conducted in normal construction hours and we barely heard any noise. Overall, peaceful and so enjoyable, we would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great communication when needing to message and instructions were really clear. Very stylish but homely space, loved the touches of spices etc and sugar jar so saved us going out to buy some. lovely, spacious and clean. White fan didn't seem to work but the silver one was really handy as was a warm time. Great location for us as in between family so will definitely keep in mind for future trips.

Jayne's apartment was perfect for a short work trip. Quietly located a short walk from bus routes from Bristol Parkway and into central Bristol, the area is quiet but convenient. The space compact but well laid out with everything you need for a short visit. The decor is lovely and the bed is one of the comfiest I've slept in! Having a kitchenette is great for self-catering and having tea, coffee and cereal included is a nice bonus. There's a Tesco and a Co-op within a 15min walk for all your essentials. I made the most of the nice weather with a walk through Britannia Woods (just across the road) and down the River Frome, which was lovely. Very much recommend Jayne's place and I'll definitely be back! Thank you :)

Don’t hesitate if you want to stay in this area. The property is just as described, spotless and felt like a home. There are stairs so might not suit everyone but we had a wonderful two night stay. Highly recommended and Lucinda and Katy were quick to respond and we were given lots of local places to visit and eat. Perfect.
