Cabin holiday rentals in Lynchburg

Very beautiful cabin on a camping ground like place. There were bugs but only because we are in the woods and its campingesque. The bugs weren't overwhelming as long as you kept the doors closed. The hot tub was preheated and very enjoyable. The host was very communicative and extremely helpful and kind.

My family and I enjoyed our brief stay in the Tree Loft - what a magical woodsy adventure. We enjoyed the fire pit, and the clean and rustic, yet comfortable qualities to this cozy A-frame. The record player was a nice touch, and had a classic selection. Our daughter loved having her own loft area to hang in. Our advice is to not follow GPS (unless you enjoy off roading). The host provides better directions once you book ;)

The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The small details made the difference compared to other properties. For example, the towels were thick and soft. The kitchen had measuring cups. The re were small battery powered lanterns that were great at night. The path to the fire pit was lined with solar powered lights. All the small details matched the description of luxurious. We loved watching the wind on the water, turtles sunning themselves, jumping fish, frog songs and blue heron tiptoeing through the water.

Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

Peaceful & quiet! Bed was very comfortable . Hot tub was great! Didn’t really use the well stocked kitchen because there are great restaurants a short drive away. Great location for our needs!

We loved our stay here! The house is remote, but the views and amenities were well worth it. Be sure to pack in your groceries as there isn’t anything close. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful place to spend with family and friends, this is it! We had our two kids with us and hiked waterfall trails in the area during the day, then came back and cooked dinner and relaxed in the hot tub in the evening. Definitely a wonderful place to relax and unplug.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We needed a quiet place to relax and regroup and this was perfect. A little fishing, beautiful sunset, quiet morning on the porch and a great place for the dog as well. Would go again (from a 16 year old’s perspective). Thank you for a great place to stay.

Very beautiful cabin. Much larger than it seemed in the photos. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the private feel of the cabin tucked away off the main road. We also loved the fact that we could explore the entire property, although we were limited on time due a local event we were attending. We would love to come back to have more time to just enjoy the cabin and the property. David was very friendly, with great communication and even made us aware of grounds keepers being onsite to pull trash and other chores well in advance. Looking forward to staying here again.

A trip I’ll remember forever! We went to Sewanee for my brothers graduation from the University of the South. The house was beautiful. Wood interior, lush woods surrounding the property. We fished on the pond and there is even a kayak and a Targer grill where we cooked most dinners! The kitchen is STOCKED - better than any other rental I’ve used. The owners also paid attention to details and have body wash, shampoo, conditioner, make up removing washcloths, toothbrush, laundry detergent, and more! The property owners are incredibly responsive and as sweet as can be! I have ZERO negative things to say. The price was a bit steep in my experience with AirBnB but we were so happy with the trip anyways! The University was an easy drive and we weren’t ready to come home!

The house is beautiful and very clean. The living room is a bit small, but there is a screened in wraparound porch that extends the hang out space. And a fire pit in the backyard- we were too busy to use it- but it would be an awesome hang out.

Cynthia was so nice to allow us to check in early! She greeted us personally and treated us with a special bag of baked goods! We also loved being within walking distance to the Fiery Gizzard trail. An overall wonderful experience!

Very nice property. Amazing views. Peaceful and quite yet close to whateveryou might need. I loved the property and felt very safe. The Cabin had LOTS of room and all the ammenities. It was a great experience for me and my dog as it was close to Eagleville High where we participated in a AKC Scent Work Dog Trial. The property has lots of land to roam and is on a dead end street so it was safe for my dog to explore. The area is beautiful. We sat in rocking chairs on the front porch every morning drinking coffee. We cooked steaks on the gas grill. Lots of places to visit with only a 20 minute drive to different towns. We even visited downtown Nashville and listened to music on Broadway. This was one of the top places I've ever stayed at in regards to dog friendly. We were able to get our 5th "Q" in Detective scentwork, so the purpose of out trip was a huge success and it's contributed to my dog being in a happy environment. I hope to stay again soon as it was wonderful !!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this airbnb. Very private and quiet. We also had the opportunity to meet the hosts as we saw them on their property and we reached out. We enjoyed hearing the history of the property, and they were very gracious. Those staying just need to be aware the bathrooms are not in the “house” where you stay, but they’re not far from the cabin and are very clean. Was not an issue for us. Would highly recommend and will keep it in mind for future stays as well.

Overall a great stay. Would 10/10 recommend. The only critique is that the wall wooden panels adjacent to the bed shed a bit and fall onto the sheets. Makes sense because it’s part of the rustic cabin appeal but a bit uncomfortable from a practical sleeping sense. Had a fantastic stay other than that.

The Pines was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay at! The host was kind and responsive if we had any questions. Some tasty local food spots to try that are nearby would be the High Point and the Mountain Goat Market. The Pines also offers menus of the local restaurants which is pretty neat. If you’re going to Monteagle and looking for somewhere to stay, The Pines is the place!

We had a great stay!! The place is easy to find and feels very quiet and peaceful in nature, I wish we could've stayed a whole week. There are other houses in the area but they are not too close so you have space and it still feels private (just not 100% "in the middle of nowhere" private - we were also here in the winter with no leaves on the trees inbetween). As others mentioned, the stairs going up to the bathroom/bedrooms is more like a ladder so important to keep in mind if you have mobility issues, but we had no problem navigating them. Our dog stayed downstairs and had tons of fun running around outside. There's also some fantastic hikes in the area!! Can't wait to come back again when the weather is warmer to take full advantage of the dock/lake. Thanks for a wonderful weekend away!

The stay was great! The hosts were great! The communication between booking and checkout was great! Any questions I had they both communicated back within a timely manner. We had an emergency situation and the hosts worked with us. The location and the house were so beautiful! Everything was worth it. Definitely booking again whenever coming back to Tennessee.

3 Bedrooms plus loft beds and 3 baths made this a great weekend stay for 3 couples and a single. the walk way outside is uneven rock and the stairs inside were larger spaced steps.

This mountain retreat is the perfect place to go with friends or family. You have areas to gather together and spend time by the fire or grilling and have an amazing view of the mountains, while still having your privacy. Each unit has its own bathroom and different sleeping arrangements. It is so magical and serene, the pictures do not do it justice.

We had six adults and two infants with us and this place was perfect for us. Jeff was a great communicator and the check in and check out process was easy to follow. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
