Cottage holiday rentals in Lytham

We booked Upper Crumble cottage to celebrate my husbands birthday and my retirement. It was everything we wanted it to be . The setting is amazing, so beautiful and peaceful. The blue bell wood was in flower and well worth the walk around. The cottage itself was spotless, good quality bedding/towels. Well stocked kitchen, we ate out at a few recommended restaurants from an abundance of leaflets etc in the cottage, but also cooked and had cosy nights in after any days that had involved alot of walking. The hot tub was that little extra to feel really pampered. Sarah and Stewart were extremely helpful and were more than happy to show us the amazing garden and let us stroll round at our leisure. It has to be seen to be believed, stunning. The cottage is perfectly placed to visit many places, most were 20-30 mins away, some closer. We felt so at home, if only it was!! Hosts superb, and that's not because they provided some bubbly to help us celebrate. We will most certainly be back.

What a wonderful place for a peaceful break away. The house was so comfortable with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was a lovely addition too! My son, who loves wildlife photography, absolutely adored the river. He spent every possible moment down there photographing Kingfishers! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves birds and wildlife.

We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi

Hermitage cottage was in a beautiful situation right on the river Lune. The cottage was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the barbecue and the outdoor seating. We were extremely fortunate with the weather and really enjoyed our stay. Walks around the estate were lovely. It is a lovely base to explore the Forest of Bowland and surrounding areas.

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. The field full of adorable lambs to look out on was a delightful bonus! Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn.

Dog friendly accommodation within a stone throw of a dog friendly beach . The location was perfect for us ( a family of 4 with a small dog) ... very peaceful and quiet. Rather than drive we booked a local taxi service to Prestatyn on the evening (too hot for a 30 min walk !) who were very reliable and cost £6.50. I would recommend a visit to Conwy (approx 40 mins in the car)......its stunning and dog friendly.

Wonderful 5-night stay at Chestnut Cottage after Rob completed the Great Glen Way & West Highland Way in 6 days! @freemanwalking on YouTube 😀 The hot tub was a real treat for soothing sore muscles. Stunning bay views made the cottage the perfect place to relax. The bed was super comfy, and we loved the little extra touches like the soft robes and complimentary tea, coffee, and milk. Just a short, scenic walk along the promenade to the village for supplies. The weather wasn’t the best, but the cosy cottage more than made up for it. Highly recommend! Thank you Gemma

A beautifully presented and appointed house in a very convenient position for accessing the Green by the sea and the town centre. Very comfortable and well equipped.

We really enjoyed staying at the coach house, located perfectly for access to Lytham and Blackpool. Big enough for 6 of us staying and with enough room for us to have had family around for dinner one evening. The accommodation itself is well kept, easy to find and Liz left clear instructions for access prior to us arriving. If you have a dog the garden is ideal for them to potter round securely. Thank you so much to Gill and Tom for a lovely stay. The coach house was beautiful, cosy yet spacious and had everything we needed. It was immaculate and well looked after, a real home from home. The local pub/restaurant with a stunning views of the estuary is only a stones throw away and the coach house looks out onto a field giving it a lovely rural feel whilst still being close to local amenities. Gill and Tom are really lovely, friendly, kind people and couldn’t do enough for us. We will be booking again and also recommending to family and friends. Thank you Gill and Tom ❤️

A beautiful cottage in a peaceful countryside location. 20 minutes to Blackpool, just a little further to Lytham & St Anne's. Cottage was spotless, the beds very comfy as were the pillows. Gemma very friendly, gave advice regarding the local area. She even sent a message the night before we left that there was no rush to be out in the morning. The milk, beers and snacks were very much appreciated on our arrival. I would highly recommend this property!!!!

Lovely holiday home Fresh and clean, very homely for the humans and dogs!

We (a family of 5) stayed in the Shippon (a lovely comfortable and clean cottage) for a week. The kids enjoyed the big garden with plenty of room to run about. Location is very quiet! Very friendly and kind hosts!

The house was easy to find using the instructions given and the location was lovely and felt like home. The house itself was better than expected, also very clean, modern and comfortable. The welcome box of goodies was a really nice touch and gratefully received. Felt really relaxed there. The huge bonus was having the secure paddock area which my dogs loved. We had great meals in the Rose & Crown just 7 mins away and from Nellie the Elephant Indian just 4 mins away. Lots of other places nearby. I would love to come here again and would highly recommend.

What a beautiful cottage! It retains all the charm of its long history, while offering up-to-the-minute amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and pristine, with fresh white linens, and everything you need and more to begin your stay. Behind the house is a private garden and terrace, overlooking miles of fields and trees. We found peace and tranquillity here.

Catherine's cottage was a pleasure to stay at. The cottage was clean and very well presented and the garden area has seating which is perfect for an evening vino or a morning cuppa. Croston is picture perfect, a short walk to a handful of lovely pub/restaurants, a boutique cocktail bar and an Indian restaurant. A short walk takes you to the river and church, very pretty. Our weekend stay ticked all the boxes, for a busy couple wanting to switch off for 48hours , this cottage, host and village were perfect. There is a shop a few yards away, and a sports bar with cricket pitch and terrace, so we chilled watching a match with drinks. Private parking place also, look forward to returning.
