Quinta dos Avós Lourenço Farm

Quinta dos Avós Lourenço is ideal for those looking for rest, nature and privacy. The house is rented entirely and has 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen and laundry area. The outdoor space is fenced, furnished and exclusive for guests. Set within a 3-hectare farm, you can enjoy contact with animals, orchards and green areas in a peaceful and authentic rural setting. Traditional breakfast available as an optional extra (€9per person/day), with fresh regional bread.

Two bedroom country house

A cottage great for resting, relaxing and disconnecting from everyday life. Here you will find silence and tranquility. Ideal for groups (7 people max) and small children. From there you can explore several walking trails, waterfalls and rivers. A short drive takes you to the towns of Belver and Nisa, or to the Amieira do Tejo walking trail. Within 5 minutes drive there is an outdoor swimming pool with free entry. A tasty breakfast is delivered directly to the cottage at your preferred time.

At the vegetable garden, enjoy a strawberry, feel the aromas, on the balcony with wide views, rest your eyes and relax. This is the ideal space to spend a few days with friends or gather the family in a rural and welcoming environment. An invigorating dip in the pool or watching the birds fuss in the backyard. Recovering a stone house, keeping the ancestral and typical details was a challenge, but one that we gladly accepted, guided by the desire to preserve history and memory. Be welcome.

The Rusty Cage

Come and rest in peace, in the typical village of Amieira do Tejo nestled in its valley descending on the banks of the Tagus. The house, located on the heights of the village, near the calvário, overlooks the pastures and eucalyptus forest. The nearby town of Nisa offers services and shops. The museum of traditional art and the thermal baths are worth discovering. And of course, local specialties of cold cuts and cheeses are to be tasted. Hiking excursions on the banks of the Tagus.

Sunset Vista Apartment B

Spacious annexe apartment in peaceful surroundings, with one double bed and 1 single bed in the 1st bedroom and a double sofabed and a single bed in the lounge / 2nd bedroom, where there is also a TV with apps. There's a great little kitchenette / dining room with a coffee machine, a stunning bathroom with free standing bath, a shower and bidet. A sunny balcony with access to a shared garden with BBQ and outside dining area, plus a beautiful shared pool with sun loungers.

Closest at 2 and 5 km and large reservoir nearby with water sports facilities, canoe rental and wakeboard tracks. The popular river beach of Cardigos at 5 km.

We’re Junaid, Sara, and our dog Popi—your hosts at Monte Emitaj, a peaceful retreat in Rosmaninhal, 3 km from Mação. Set on 3,000m² with fruit trees and gardens, our rustic cottage is a private, self-contained space separate from our home. It includes two cozy bedrooms, large bathroom, and well equipped kitchen. Guests share the entrance gate and large terrace with us, but the indoor space is all yours. A quiet place to slow down and reconnect.

The property has been recently renovated. Palhota, a small hamlet about 5 minutes drive from Vila de Rei . We are surrounded by hills and forests with an abundance of marked trails, river beaches, waterfalls, lakes and historic towns.
