A perfect, rustic spot for you or your out of town visitors to have a space of their own. Relax with the wood-burning stove, propane fire pit on the private deck, or fish in the 2-acre pond on the property. This property is on our land, but separate from our home; have privacy and your own space to park. No smoking or events.

You will be sharing the space with myself and my 2 dogs. a 8 year old Aussiedoodle and a 3 year old GoldenPyreDoodle. I don't have many amenities for you as I'm only renting out one room. You are welcome to use the kitchen as needed. You will have your own private full bath just a step outside of your room. This BNB is mainly to be used as a short term stay

This historic structure was originally a 2-story log home built in 1813. The home was used as an Inn or tavern along the Old Federal Road leading from Columbus to Springfield. In 2020, the decision was made to disassemble the second floor of the original cabin and then reassemble it on a new foundation with walk-out basement. This rebuilt cabin overlooks Deer Creek and a 50 plus acre wetlands area. The property is 1 mile from I-70 and is only a 30-minute drive to Columbus, OH.

Stores and restaurants are within 10-15 min., 1 mile to a Columbus metro park, 20 minutes from downtown and 25 minutes to the airport.
