This historic structure was originally a 2-story log home built in 1813. The home was used as an Inn or tavern along the Old Federal Road leading from Columbus to Springfield. In 2020, the decision was made to disassemble the second floor of the original cabin and then reassemble it on a new foundation with walk-out basement. This rebuilt cabin overlooks Deer Creek and a 50 plus acre wetlands area. The property is 1 mile from I-70 and is only a 30-minute drive to Columbus, OH.

Charming little country home. Walking distance from downtown Plain City, Ohio local restaurants. Near Columbus, Ohio. This house is being fixed up slowly. It is not perfect. It’s $80/night for a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a very large fenced in yard. Please do not expect perfection but if you are looking for a stay for your family on a budget this is a great find.
