Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. My cosy house is located in a monumental building from the 2nd world war that is rebuild into great houses. The house is located in the dunes only on 3 minutes walking distance from the beach. There are a few restaurants in the direct area. The boat to the islands is only 5km from the house. The house has 3 levels and 2 terraces. 2 large bedrooms and a beautifull bathroom and kitchen. The train will bring you in less than an hour to Amsterdam, but who will need Amsterdam in this great place?

The eco-friendly cottage is situated in a peaceful setting, yet close to everything: the beach, the woods, the dunes, the mudflats, the nature reserve, and Hoorn's town center are all within walking distance. Sleeping here will be peaceful. The cottage is beautifully decorated with all sorts of wooden elements and fully equipped. You'll truly unwind here and fully enjoy the island. There's a bakery around the corner for delicious rolls, and the supermarket is about a 5-minute bike ride away.

Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty!
