The apartment is really nice and we felt right at home, which was not least due to the warm welcome from Susanne and Maarten. The apartment is lovingly furnished and you have almost everything you need for a short vacation. The location is an ideal starting point for excursions into nature, as well as to Lucerne! Shopping facilities, as well as nature (with Lake Baldeggersee) are in the immediate vicinity. If we ever take a trip to Lucerne again, we will be happy to come back!

The place was beautiful, and the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. I traveled by car, so the location was perfect for visiting Interlaken, Lucerne, and Zurich. It was a comfortable and convenient stay — highly recommended if you’re exploring the area by car!

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! Marion is a very warm hostess and greeted us personally at check-in. The apartment was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was very well equipped. There is a private parking space for the apartment directly in front of the entrance door. We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the apartment.

I get to met Edgar on the day of check in. Very humble and kind person. Check in and check out instructions were very clear. His apartment was very nice. It was very clean and has all the things that one would need during their stay. The kitchen was well versed with all the utensils. We did cook there. I am definitely going to book Edgar’s apartment the next time I would visit to Lucerne. Overall it was hassle free and pleasant stay.

This place was beautiful and just what we needed for our children and mother. It was located in a beautiful and peaceful town surrounded by gorgeous mountain views and within 10 minutes from the train station where you can easily access nearby towns. There was a direct train to Lucerne that was only an hour ride.

Honestly, one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! Dieter was a really nice host, and checked in to see how we were going. Checking into the apartment was super easy and it was all very clean. The best part of this Airbnb is definitely the location and amenities. If you’re looking for an Airbnb with amazing views from your window, that’s still close to Lucerne city (both walking distance and easy bus access), then this is the one! All the appliances and furniture also seemed brand new, which just added to the really nice feel of the apartment.

If you’re planning a trip to Switzerland this is THE PLACE to stay! It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Switzerland and at first I was very lost on where to stay but I am SO THANKFUL I came across this air bnb because it made our trip that much better! The pictures on here don’t do the place justice. It was better than we expected and the host make you feel like family while you’re there. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It’s one of the best air bnbs I’ve ever been in and the location/views are unbeatable. We could walk to the train station and the town of Grindelwald with ease. If we ever get the chance to come to Switzerland again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I was sad to leave but so happy we got to come and experience this. You won’t regret booking this for your trip!

truly enjoyed the stay especially with the amazing view of Mt Pilatus from the balcony!!! only qualm is there was only 1 fan which Unfortunately was insufficient during summer as it's pretty hot. Apart from that, the apartment has most of what we need, and was spacious and pretty clean!

We had a wonderful stay on the Eggbergen. It was truly a memorable experience. The apartment was spacious, beautifully equipped, and offered breathtaking views straight out of a picture book. We felt warmly welcomed and appreciated the many helpful tips we received during our time there. The fresh eggs, and other local produce from the nearby farm shop were a real treat, and we’ll definitely miss the peaceful atmosphere and the cows grazing below the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature in a stunning setting!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is clean and comfortable for our family of five (one infant). It has a separate entrance for guests and dedicated parking space. Kitchen is complete with all the appliances & utensils. Elisabeth was super nice and friendly. She brought our kids to see the animals and they love it. She provided some groceries n chocolate and she even baked bread for us. hopefully we have the opportunity to stay here again.

Paul is a great host and the views of this Airbnb are incredible. About an hour or two away from most places in the country. Absolutely beautiful being right on the lake. I would love to stay here again.

Check-in and checkout was smooth. Washer/dryer on site in the building which is helpful. Good location, close to the city centre. Clean unit. Hosts were communicative.

Can you review my review on Lucerne Airbnb? Sara and Paul were great hosts! They provided a video and PDF instructions on how to find a place and parking. That was a great help! The place was exactly described. View from the room was spectacular! We loved sitting on balcony and enjoyed our breakfast. It was fun riding on the funicular ride down to Lake Lucerne. The station was right to next to us! We had a missing laundry key issue, but Sara responded our messages right away and resolved the issue quickly. They communicated well whenever we had questions and made us comfortable to stay. We definitely recommend this place!

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

Wonderful stay! Everything was perfect, the accommodation was very clean and very functional. Pierre was very nice and gave us lots of activities to do that were great! I highly recommend this listing!

Such an amazing location and host!! An absolute must if visiting the area.

Nothing short of amazing! It was an absolute delight to stay at Steffi’s place for our 2nd year anniversary celebration and we were greeted by not just a friendly and cheerful host personally at the door but probably the most stunning view of any Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Steffi herself to the time to meet us, give us some very nice tips which added that much more to our experience of the area. The apartment was clean and everything was catered to so you had the feeling you were pampered all the time. Even though there is a bus connection, we were fortunate to be able to get there by car which made the place very accessible to us and helped us visit Bern and other cities quite easily. Although, a great hike is only a stone’s throw away with some wonderful trails already starting as you step out the door. We would give Steffi more than 5 stars if we could and would be more than happy to recommend her place! :)

We felt comfortable from the first minute with a welcoming host and an apartment with a really well thought out level of equipment - everything you need without clutter. Its in a very quiet and green area while still being very well linked with public transport to Lenzburg and Aarau. The bus stop and train station are both walkable and there are two small supermarket in walking distance that have all the necessities and more.

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.

Beautiful spot in Beatenberg, right in front of the bus stop. Breath taking views, wonderful amenities, close to town with an easy to catch bus taking you right from your door to the best destinations. Hosts provide a wonderfully in depth guide to the area, only wish we had stayed longer!
