Cottage holiday rentals in Manaccan

My partner and I had a great stay here for a long weekend. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to amenities. The bed in particular was so comfortable, something I find hard to find at Airbnb’s! Claire and her husband were such lovely hosts and even gave us some free home grown eggs for breakfast. Plus lots of local recommendations. The local is good for seeing both the north and south coast. Easy to get the train too if you don’t fancy driving. 100% would come back and recommend the others too!

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

We loved our stay in this cottage! It has such a cosy homely feel and is equipped with everything you’d need! The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a tv in both bedrooms and the living space! The hot tub area was gorgeous and a great place to unwind and relax, very private area! Shaun the host was super friendly and very responsive! We couldn’t fault this place - amazing value for money. Would recommend and would love to return in the future!

This was our third stay at Nancy's House. Here are some of the things that drew us back: snug but spacious house that feels loved and lived in, peacefully tucked into a farm where interesting things always seem to be happening, and just a few steps from exhilarating open spaces; lovely hosts. Oh, and the hot-tub is very nice!

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

Our stay was lovely. Tracy’s cottage was absolutely immaculate and inviting Felt warm and comfortable with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers,scones and chocolates 😊 Tracy was a pleasure to communicate with as well. Warm and responsive I could tell she was a warm and kind hearted person right from the get go

This place was such a great find! We’ve just got back from the most perfect week away. We originally only booked for 4 nights but we extended our stay as we were having such a wonderful time. The place is just lovely with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We loved our welcoming gifts too. Kate and Simon are brilliant hosts and were extremely easy to contact. St Agnes is a beautiful location with some superb coastal walks. There’s also plenty of places to go out for food and drink. The beach is stunning also. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is considering it (just book it!). Thanks again for a brilliant stay Kate and Simon!

Fiona was a fantastic host, loads of info and very friendly. the house is perfect for a family stay and we loved the cream teas left for us. there is tea and coffee and lots of other handy bits. cupboards full of everything could need like pots pans cling film tuppawear... the main bed was very comfy and cot bed provided. the jacuzzi was great but we unfortunately didn't use the pool as we were too busy seeing the sights. the garden is amazing and we felt very at home. We really loved our stay and we would definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family.

Excellent stay! An easy drive to many of the beautiful and exciting corners of Cornwall. Technically there is a train track nearby, but we could barely hear it, even with the windows open in the bedrooms. A very well outfitted kitchen and spacious lounging area. We also had a B&B breakfast, which we hadn't expected. 10/10 would come back and stay again!

A really lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage was clean, cosy and well equipped. The garden was absolutely beautiful and fully enclosed for our dog. Very thoughtful provision of dog towels.

An absolutely beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed. A cosy bedroom with a clever hidden kitchen. The bathroom was much larger than we expected and the shower was excellent. The star of the show is undoubtedly the outside space - the garden is a private and peaceful area, well laid out and adorned with pretty wildflowers. The outside copper bath is large and luxurious, a relaxing spot to watch the sunset (and cows!). We’d definitely recommend the cottage to anyone. Beautiful inside and out.

Lovely cottage crammed with period features and charm. Fabulous host, really attentive and communicated pro actively. The location made it, you step out of the garden onto the Chappel Valley path which follows the steam, that flows through your garden, down to Chappel Porth Cove which is amazing. If the Cove looks like nothing special then it's high tide, when the tide goes out its miles of golden sand and hidden caves, stunning. Lovely coastal walk to StAgnes which is a lovely place to explore, so many lovely places to eat. The dressed crab at the Tap House is amazing. Arrival was lovely, Laura had left us a locally sourced cream tea, local teas and coffees, fresh flowers, even shampoos for our dog, so thoughtful. We absolutely loved our stay thank you

We had the most lovely stay at Isobel‘s place. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and has beautiful surroundings! The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and we woke up with the nicest sea view every morning! St. Just is a very quaint and cute little village and absolutely worth a visit! We would definitely stay here again whenever we visit Cornwall!

Such a beautiful find. A wonderful location, lots of lovely places to eat in the harbour. Moments from the beach and short drives to lots of places to explore too. The cottage was so much bigger than we had anticipated. The garden was great for our dog too. Thank you so much! X

We had a great stay here in the village of Sticker. It is on the main bus route from St Austell to Truro, so was very easy to get to from the train station (which is next to the bus station). Steve & Sue were very welcoming and helpful, and the cottage had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. There is a pub and a village shop/post office a short walk away, so very convenient. We hired a car and found it very easy to get about as we were so central. It was lovely to come back after a day’s sightseeing to the peace and quiet of our cosy cottage (and sit in the garden when the weather permitted!). We would not hesitate to recommend Steve’s cottage!

We had a great stay at Zoë's! Accommodation is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. Communication with Zoë was very fast and very friendly. As soon as we arrived, Zoë came by to welcome us. Good tips in a book and both through the app for the area in terms of pubs and nice towns! The garden also looked super beautiful with cozy birds that came by to eat peanuts that hung on the tree. Our stay was really fantastic and would book it again!

Eleanor’s cottage was perfect for our family of four. It is next to the creek and a very short walk to the pub and ferry. The cottage was great, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. We picked up some supplies on our way to the cottage at the supermarket in Helston, but the local shop in Helford was handy too. Parking was on the creek or up in a nearby car park (a 2 minute walk up the hill). We bought a ticket for the week and left the car there except on the days we were venturing further afield. We had such a great holiday and would definitely recommend this beautiful part of Cornwall and Eleanor’s lovely cottage!

After a slight panic with the lock box (different numbers in email and app) I got in to the most well-equipped, gorgeous little cottage you could hope for.

Lovely place. Great location with lots to do within walking distance. The accommodation was really quiet,it was incredibly peaceful. Good for the dog, lots of space outside.

We had a lovely week staying at Calcite Cabin. The cabin is comfortable, peaceful and private with everything we needed. We loved sitting in the hot tub listening to the birds singing and our dog loved the enclosed garden. We enjoyed having the watersports centre on site where we used our paddleboard and hired one of the centre's kayaks. We also joined one of the swimming sessions, had a nice lunch in the cafe and watched tiny goslings on the lake. The site wardens were really friendly and helpful. We had beautiful weather so visited local beaches (Kynance Cove and Porthleven are stunning), Lizard Point and had Mexican food at Chimichangas. We also had day trips to the Eden Project and St Ives. We'd highly recommend Calcite Cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, dog friendly holiday or those who like to be on the water. There's some heathland adjacent to the centre where dogs can be walked on the lead, and down the road is a nature reserve where dogs can go off lead.

Just a very special lovely place, a hidden gem. Everything you need. Kelly is an excellent host and I will return again.

When we decided to take our summer holiday in Cornwall, as we had never been before I spent a long time researching trying to decide where to stay, and I stumbled across Peter's place, and after looking at the pictures knew it was the perfect place for us, lovely little cottage, Peter was very friendly and came to see us after we arrived to make sure everything was OK, and was extremely quick to respond to any messages I sent. It was the perfect base from which to explore the lizard peninsula and the rest of Cornwall. Highly recommended, my 7 year old already wants us go again :-D

We had a really lovely stay at Apple loft, Alison was so friendly and great with communication. She added lots of personal touches, which was greatly appreciated. We brought our 6 month old and there was plenty of space around the bed for a travel cot, and Alison supplied a high chair. Alison sent her recommended places in the local area before we arrived, which was really helpful. We’d definitely recommend to anyone visiting the local area x
