Monthly Rentals in Mandraki

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Mandraki! Shops and restaurants were within walking distance, and you could stroll through the beautiful alleys in the evening or quickly watch the sunset just two streets away. The apartment was super clean and equipped with everything you needed, and there were also some treats as a gift. Kalliopi inquired about us very kindly and was always available. We will be happy to come back!

This home is a little gem in the heart of the Aegean under the shadow of the volcano. The house is a renovated traditional home with attention to detail and excellent for kids in a quite traditional neighbourhood a walk from the sea and town. Just like the island, it offers many thoughtful gifts that reveal themselves while staying. The house's temperature is cool with fresh air coming from the hills though the stony windows. Despite the summer heat, it was definitely the best space to be in and enjoy the afternoons. They say that the people make a place and this is certainly accurate for Nisyros. I cannot go in details but the island reveals itself as time passes by, and it is full of pleasant, and at times, magnificent surprises. Eleana is a great communicator and a person, what can I say. We truly enjoyed our stay and fully recommend it. In fact, we were very sad to go and would love to may be return one day.

Renata is a warm, open-hearted, and well-traveled person with great energy — and you can really feel that in her home. The apartment is a magical place with a stunning view of the sea, very clean and well-maintained, and the mattress is super comfortable. Everything you need to feel at home is there. Renata picked us up and even brought us back to the harbor. When we forgot our toothbrush, she went out of her way to bring it to us — so kind and thoughtful!

Betty is a great host, she & Mr Yiannis made sure that everything was made easy for our 4 night stay. We arrived after midnight and she was there to welcome us, provided us everything we needed during the stay, and even helped us after checkout to leave our luggage and wait at her sitting room. The apartment is exactly as it’s shown in the photos, and very well equipped. The only info that is not clear from the description is that the apartment is a semi-basement with a stairway that connects it with the main house where Betty and her husband live, ie not very soundproof. Though that didn’t stop us from having a great stay. Thank you Betty, we hope we are back soon.
