Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Manhattan

We had a lovely stay at Jordan’s house. It was airy, inviting, and close to everything we needed. We even made a short walk over to the Asian market and grabbed some goodies. Would stay here again if I was going to Manhattan.

Great place, great host. Close to shopping, close to the lake. Necessities provided. Nice to just relax for a get away from the hustle bustle.

The listing was described perfectly. The home was clean and easy to find. We had a wonderful stay. Stephanie responded with a timely matter.

We had a wonderful stay for our son’s graduation weekend. The family felt right at home and the lovely backyard accommodated a small family gathering of about 20 with no problem. The home was comfortable, spacious and had great mattresses. Will definitely book this home again in the future.

My adult children and grandchildren arrived prior to my husband and I. they had all the sleeping arrangements picked out for everyone and gave me a tour. the A-frame was spectacular upon entering the kitchen went on for what seemed a mile, beautiful, white, marble kitchen with gorgeous stainless steel appliances. and the deck beyond the family room. the three tweens slept upstairs it was perfect for them and they loved it. we slept on the main floor, perfect! my daughter and son-in-law on the lower level along with my other daughter on the pull-up sofa. we were all very comfortable and happy with the arrangements. we went to the beach one day. the kids went hiking around the house with the metal detector one day and then it rained. we went to Pillsbury something with a waterfall and goofed around for a while. came home and ate and watched amazing sunsets. had a glow stick/necklace party on the deck after dark, then it stormed. played the game Life for 3 eves in a row, I think Emmy won

Judine was a gracious and caring host, it is obvious how much she cares about your comfort and feeling welcome at the Houston Cottage. We were under a wind advisory and she made sure to let us know how to take shelter if needed. The house is well appointed and spotless. So comfy! The rooms are larger than I expected! The beds and linens are very nice. Enjoyed our stay!

Great way for my adult children to get together for graduation. This place was clean, comfort, close, quiet and peaceful with a playground for my granddaughters. Easy walk across the street to graduation! Thank you for a great stay 😊

We absolutely enjoyed our stay!! We came to town for a wedding and a lot of the wedding party rented air bnb’s and ours was no comparison! It was beyond the best out of any other option!! Freyja was so kind and responsive anytime we reached out. The space was beautiful and extremely clean! The neighborhood is quiet and very very close to things to do and places to eat! We 100% recommend!

Cindy made my stay very comfortable and pleasant. she even went in to turn the Air Conditioning on before my arrival so that the place was cool and comfortable for my stay

Staying in this stunning historic home was an absolute dream. The house has been thoughtfully reimagined and modernized while still honoring its original charm — the beautiful woodwork, tall ceilings, and vintage touches like the gorgeous clawfoot tub made it feel like stepping into a storybook, with all the modern comforts you could imagine. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided — a fully equipped kitchen, plush bedding, fast Wi-Fi, quality toiletries, and even small details that showed just how much care the hosts put into the space. The balcony quickly became my favorite spot, offering peaceful views of City Park — the perfect place to start the day with coffee or unwind in the evening. The hosts were truly exceptional — warm, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure I had everything I needed and made me feel completely at home from the moment I arrived. This home is a rare gem — if it's available, don’t hesitate — book it!

Everything was clean and comfy…a really nice private space. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

The building is old, but the space is super clean, extremely comfy mattress and updated bed frame, clean bathroom and good shower pressure. Best part, walking distance to Aggieville. If you need a clean place to rest your head while visiting your favorite college student, consider this place!

Really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend for all. Clean and quiet works for me. The only thing missing was the morning coffee, breakfast, and conversation that I enjoyed at other locations. Amanda doesn’t provide that so there was no surprise or dissatisfaction. I would definitely stay at Amanda’s location again. 😁

Obviously, the location is perfect for K-State sports. Quiet, comfortable, convenient, and safe. But don't wait for a game to use this space. There is so much to do in Manhattan year-round.

Great stay. We were attending a camp at Kansas State and the condo was literally across the street. It was just what we were looking for!

Charming studio in a beautiful historic neighborhood! The space was cozy, well designed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Loved being surrounded by the character and charm of the area a perfect spot for anyone looking to experience a bit of local history with modern comfort

Enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place. Our kids really appreciated the snack basket and enjoyed getting to swim at the pool. Wonderful location!

What a charming unit!! We had six adults staying here and we did not feel cramped in the least bit. Everyone had their own bed. The living room is spacious. The unit was well lit and secure. Justin had amazing communication. We will definitely be booking this unit again next year!
