The apartment was beautifully furnished, historic, and centrally located. It was clean and well maintained. The biggest challenge was initially finding it, as the city streets in the neighborhood are steep and narrow, as is typical in an old city in a hill town. The car with the manual transmission really struggled to get up the hills! But once there, the city is walkable and the best restaurant in town (and best views) is a short walk away. If you’re looking for an authentic Sicilian experience in Pietraperzia, it’s worth the effort it takes to navigate there.

Giuseppina is a remarkable host, very welcoming and of rare kindness. folds out to help. check in with you to find out if you lack anything. her apartment is at the top. cleanliness++ + and we lack nothing. breathtaking mountain views and balconies teeming with plants. If I were to come back to Sicily, it will surely be at Giuseppina's place. Thank you for a wonderful stay where I really felt at home

Thanks for letting us stay at your little slice of paradise. The cottage was as stunningly beautiful as the pictures show and we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of our normal city life. The surrounding area was breath taking to see with an abundance of pretty mountainside towns. We would definitely recommend hiring a car to stay here as we did, this will make getting to places easy. We particularly enjoyed our cooking class, it was both interesting and delicious. Our hosts were great throughout our stay. Catherina was very informative, with super clear instructions and a speedy reply she made sure everything went seemlessly. Dina and Nino came to meet us to show us to the cottage, they were extremely warm and welcoming from the get go. We really enjoyed getting to know them both a bit more during our cooking class, there were many laughs at dinner with them and they made us feel welcome and relaxed. We will honestly never forget this experience. Thank you so much x
