Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Marina at Saint James Plantation

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Gorgeous views of the ocean, easy access to the beach, walk to grocery stores and restaurants. The bottom of the house is basically a big sandbox that our 4 year old and dog could play in all day. Peaceful and relaxing vacation. We’d stay here again!

This was our third amazing stay at Stacey's charming Oak Island home, and we love it more each time! Tucked away in a beautiful setting, it's the perfect quaint escape. Stacey's communication was swift and concise from booking to check-out, making everything effortless. Our only minor note for families with little ones is that the house features tile showers, which made bathing our 11-month-old a bit tricky – something to plan for! We absolutely adore this place and can't wait to return!

Our stay was just what we needed. Relaxing and comfortable. We loved the front porch and our host was wonderful! We look forward to book another trip sometime soon.

We really enjoyed our stay and had very positive interactions with both Jane and Scott. The place was clean and cute and exactly as it was listed. The floorplan was perfect for our family of 5. It was easy to get to and we felt right at home. Despite the house being on a pretty main road we didn’t feel that the traffic noise was unbearable. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Stephen’s place was absolutely incredible. Located literally 53 steps to the beach. When it was too windy to sit on the beach, we sat on the porch and enjoyed the view from there. The house had everything you can imagine and more. The decor was “tastefully beachy”. Everything looked new- not random used stuff thrown together. Even the kitchen cabinets were organized and in order. As a host, Stephen went above what he was expected to do! We will certainly rent from him again!

We had a great time staying in this cozy cottage. Mike was very responsive and helpful with the questions we had. This is our second time staying in this duplex. Both sides are equally as great! The small fenced in yard for the dogs and being able to sit on the porch where you can hear and see the ocean is so peaceful. Would stay again!

Sara was such a kind and responsive host. The house is comfortable and provides for all the conveniences needed when you are out of town, on vacation. It was clean and just the perfect size. Sara provided a great list of local recommendations for coffee, food, and fun. We found it really helpful. For our pup, there was plenty of neighborhood walking, parks, and so many dog-friendly beaches, restaurants, and casual outdoor dining options. Carolina Beach, the surrounding beach communities, and Wilmington were all so friendly. There are some great restaurants, breweries, and shopping in historic, charming Wilmington too. We would absolutely return to this quaint beach cottage. It's just perfect to bring your dog and enjoy the beach.

It was perfect for us and the doggies. Perfect fenced in back yard. Very quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. The beach buggy was a lifesaver for carrying all our gear to the beach. I would definitely stay here again. The house and beds were very comfortable and that says a lot!

We loved being so close to the beach, the pool, and the pier. Pier bar drinks and service were great! We recommend the Bahama Mama and The Painkiller. The condo was very clean and inviting. The deck was perfect for our morning croissants and fresh fruit with coffee. We enjoyed watching the waves and listening to seabirds as they soared above the sea. Just a short drive to the Boardwalk gave us some great shopping and restaurants. We recommend Britt’s donuts. Don’t buy just one -cash only! Matthew was the perfect host! He answered my questions quickly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Perfect week for us to rest and relax!

We loved our stay and Jeanna was very responsive throughout the stay if we needed her. The place was very cozy and clean! It was walking distance to a public entry way to the beach, the boardwalk, stores, and many restaurants. We would definitely stay again! 10/10!

Thank you for having us. Your home is a great stay for families and it’s nice that you allow dogs. Hosts are very responsive and will fix whatever issues might arise. Also, they leave you be and let you have complete control of the place. The pool is very nice and the screened in porch too. House is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. My only wishes were that there was better grass in the yard and around the pool area for dogs. Also, that the house didn’t have the faint smell of cigarette smoke. Aside from that, our stay was excellent and we would visit again. Thank you! We appreciate it. ❤️

This is our second time staying here. Our host is nothing short of AMAZING. Always responsive and friendly. The place is always clean easy it get to and checking in was simple. We will for sure stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay with our two families! It felt larger than expected and there was plenty of room for our two families and more. The kids all enjoyed the game room and the small pool in the backyard. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy walk to the beach. We are all hoping to stay here again!

it was the perfect setting for our family vacation with our adult children and their significant others. In fact, it was the perfect back drop on the dock for my son to propose to his girlfriend! wonderful memories here! peaceful and beautiful setting and short drive to the beach.

I stayed in this first floor condo with my husband and our dog over the weekend and it was perfect. It’s in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood that felt very safe, and it’s just a few minutes from the beach. I really appreciated the basket of essentials that were provided since I forgot to bring my own shampoo and conditioner. My dog also loved having a comfy bed and bowls provided for her :) I would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully furnished beach home with enough space to easily enjoy a wonderful family get together. Kitchen is nicely accessorized- for cooking in -and many restaurants are close enough to walk to. Beach is just a short walk away. And if you need something the grocery store is conveniently located across the street. We totally enjoyed our stay.!!

Our Pawtucket stay was our first vacation as a family of 3 (four with our fur-baby). Pauline was very friendly and accommodating from the very beginning, before we even got to the rental. She also offered great recommendations, and her home was beautiful and perfect for what we needed! Close to coffee and donuts and bbq, a couple blocks from the beach - and right near the splash pad. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in OKI with their kid(s) and pups!

We loved our stay in Oak Island! This home is very close to the scenic walkway on 20th street which was wonderful to take our dog to and from the beach each day. The home was exactly as described and was on a nice, quiet street, very close to all amenities you would need on the island.

We really loved our stay. It was cozy. The house was beautiful and very spacious. The sun room was probably our favorite. All the appliances were top tier. If you have pets the out door shower also had a close by water hose with a shower nozzle that came in clutch washing the beach day off our dog.

I had a very nice stay. I am moving to the area and needed a dog friendly place to work for a few days. The fenced yard was a bonus! The internet was good and had no issues. The house is very cute and very nicely updated
