No central A/C, but window units in two bedrooms and lots of ceiling and area fans. A short drive to Snowshow, Cranberry Glades, Cass Railroad, Greenbank Observatory and more.

Quiet secluded vacation/hunting camp on 20 acres in Pocahontas County Wv. Family camp since the 70’s. A true camping experience with comfort. No cell service in area due to Greenbank Observatory’s regulations. 3 small bedrooms, Gas grill, picnic table, outdoor furniture, and fire pit. Tons of trout fishing close by , skiing, hunting, hiking and immediate wilderness access on the property. No other houses within a quarter mile! Great place to decompress and have some fun. New cabin built 2019 in the heart of pocahontas county! Just a 28 mile drive to Snowshoe ski resort. It has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom has a full bed with open loft overlooking kitchen and living room area, bathroom downstairs with standup shower. It has a heat pump, two TVs & WIFI also a fully equipped kitchen. We have a fire pit outside and a charcoal grill. The 77 mile greenbrier river trail is directly in front of our cabin.

My friend Will and I had a great nights stay after a long day of biking the greenbrier trail. The location was perfect with Hillsboro pub being right next door and all the locals were extremely friendly. After a change of plans biking the greenbrier trail. Will and I had to wait for our transportation to come get us. The host was super kind to allow us to stay longer and wait for our ride. I had such a great time staying here in Hillsboro. For sure would love to come back. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Super friendly host in a cabin that’s perfectly private and easy to get to - very close to town. Loved the included pizza and breakfast. Even helped me retrieve a piece of jewelry that fell down the sink drain immediately and with no complaints. Thank you!

YMC is a hidden gem with so much to offer. My children loved the community room and enjoyed the musical instruments, toys and games. The kitchenette was stocked well and a comfy place to have a meal. The scenery can’t be beat and the variety of birds is incredible! Fireflies at night were magical. We loved the trails and the ponds, hiking and kayaking. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Location is close to so many amazing hiking spots. The drive in was gorgeous and the road felt safe and maintained. We loved the wildlife along the way- birds, chipmunks, snapping turtle. Rainy mornings were even lovely. Would love to come back.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Tavern suites. Even though it states that there is noise on the weekends it wasn’t loud and didn’t keep us up. Everything was clean and felt like a second home. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of pillows and extra blankets if needed. The town is very small but we were able to find a few restaurants that were great. I would love to stay again in the future.

We had a great stay here! Was a perfect location. We were here for a few days climbing at New River Gorge and Seneca Rocks, this was a great halfway point between the two destinations. Very easy to find, clean, quiet, comfortable, would stay again if we come down again. Thanks!
