Step back in time to 1672 with a romantic stay at Hawthorn Cottage. This thatched cottage is a true gem, with its original low beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplace, and cranked staircase. The Old Vicarage Coach House

The Old Vicarage Coach house was built in 1750 as part of a farmhouse. In 1860 the property was purchased as a Vicarage for the Church. Now completely refurbished it is warm, with stunning views across farmland to the Pennine hills. It has its own entrance where there is a washer dryer. Up the oak staircase to a kitchen with fridge, microwave/oven and induction hob, bathroom (shower), double bed with sofa and TV. Close to Lyme park and Peak District but 15 minutes from Manchester Airport.

Many event venues are within a short distance , as is junction 19 of the M6. Manchester airport is a 25min drive away. Many of our quests have described the little house as ‘sparkling clean, quirky, comfortable and well designed’.
